No doubt we'll discuss this game only to find it'll be postponed at 2.55 because there's a couple of snow flakes on the ground. Tough game as always against our bogey team but both times we've played them this season, we should've beaten them. I'll happily see us play shite and come away with three points but if only it was that easy. I noticed that Chris Kane has returned to St Johnstone so that's one less thing to worry about.

If we dont' get Andy Graham involved and split their defence then we might be alright. Can't stand him because he's too good against us.

    2-1 Livi. FG 19 mins.

Didn't he score a peach against them in a 3-2 win at the Vale before being punted out the club?

Yep, it was a great  bit of passing between several players with Dylan finishing it off. 6.11 into this: http://www.livingstonfc.co.uk/livitv/dumbarton280812/livitv.php

Depressing seeing Bobby Barr and Beany scoring in that too, Beany was worth 15 goals and at least 12 points when he always scored and won games against Dumbarton.

I see Sekajja has scored in both development matches for Livi so here's hoping he gets a goal on his debut for the 1st team. Also being discarded by Hughes at Caley may be a good sign, considering the flair players he dumped at Livi.

Can't see it happening but I hope Burchill starts Hippolyte and Sekajja as our forward pair. Him and Mullen played fairly well last time with Robertson in midfield. Push forward, press when they have they ball and avoid the hoof ball pish.

    Hippolyte - Sekajja
    Glen
    Keaghan - Robertson
    O'Brien
    Rutherford - Gallagher - Fordyce - Moffat
    Jamieson

Wouldn't mind something like that, maybe Mullen instead of Hippo/Sekajja. Can't see White not starting though, and the same with Mensing, with Fordyce playing right back.

Hope we can get the 3 points regardless of who plays. 2-1 Livi, FG 24 mins.

Lucky if 5 of that team will start - not that im disagreeing with you just no way will Burchill drop Mensing or Talbot also Kyle . These two muppets are guaranteed to start every game if the turn up. Also think Glen was out for 4 weeks after QOS game so unless he is back early another 2 weeks away. Also agree with you White will start but doesn't merit it on recent performances. Also Kyle Jacobs will start and he has been no more than average all season .This is Livis problem even when play bad they don't get dropped.

Interesting that Mensing is not in the team and not even on the bench. Good to see Praprotnik getting his first start of the season

Well done to all players today solid performance, screamer from Jacobs (glad to see a goal from midfield) and glad to see the two muppets score twice, little disappointing we couldn't keep the clean sheet lol but hey ho, some great defending & goalkeeping when still 1-0, a much needed victory.

Well done Burchy, Well done players!

We scored 5 you must be shite cheers cheers cheers

Some hairy moments in defence but we got away with them til right at the end when we passed the ball right to a Dumbarton player standing in the 6 yard box, pisser as I was wanting to do some Hawaii five-0 celebrations.

Some cracking goals, White's header to start us off, then Mullen's first goal to get us into a wee purple patch in the 2nd half, and Keaghan's was a peach. Some good passing setting some of them up too, shows we actually do have it in us at times to make passes. You wouldn't have thought so seeing us in the first half right enough.

Excellent win though and much welcome 3 points.

Dumbarton player named MoTM too, lolz.
Ibra came on late and immediately showed signs of a good player, turned and got a shot off but got blocked, looking forward to seeing more of him.

Wee Mullen's first goal was superb, nice pass through for him to run onto and he turned their defender one way then another before drilling it home. Fair play to big Whitey, set up one goal and scored two himself, even scored with a header from a corner, just looks so clumsy and awkward on the ball, like a giraffe playing football. Hopefully this gives him and the team confidence for our next game.

Massive result for the Amber Machine today. I don't want to get carried away because there were times when we were letting them into the game but luckily DJ made a couple of saves and folk like Dylan Easton (lol) having pish finishing.

Have to say Sives played his best game in a Livi shirt. Done what he had to do and could accommodate Gallagher being a ball playing defender. We had a good set up with the diamond in midfield. Praprotnik put in a good shift and didn't stop pressing although some of his passes were poor at times. Keaghan was outstanding and his goal was unbelievable.

Mullen's second goal was scenes, ripping Graham a new arsehole. I can see why Dumbarton fans don't like Murray setting them up as a 3-5-2 because they made us look like world beaters.

    C'mon Burchill, make us believe.

Our last 3 league wins have been by 4 goal margins I believe? Shows we have the ability on our day.

Livingston are absolute nuts. Win 5-1 away from home against a mid-table side, spend the best part of 7 weeks getting humped, and then win 5-1 on the road again. It's almost rage inducing. Won't be happy 'til we get some consistently decent form going.

I'd say by and large the performances have been there under Burchill so far, the Cowden game in particular our woeful finishing let us down. Just seemed to all come together today and it was a glorious watch in the second half. Five well taken goals for my money, Jacobs' strike was a pearler, one of those ones you know is going in as soon as he's hit it. Chuffed for big White as well 'cause he got a total slaughtering on here from a few, myself included, after the Cowden shambles; two good finishes, second one especially, and a decent knee slide to celebrate. No bad.

Praprotnik as well looked a tidy player, I certainly remember singling him out either on here or on another forum and pretty much calling him useless. Changed days, I'll happily admit I was wrong. If Burchill utilises him correctly at the tip of a midfield diamond we could be on to a real winner, especially if his passing picks up a bit.

Win vs. Alloa and I think that'll give us enough belief to do it. Players and management certainly seem bouncing by today if social media is anything to go by.
