Should possibly be 2pts more* than we have, but we'd still be 3rd, with a game in hand on Ayr. We're coming along nicely with players gelling, and we're looking stronger as the season goes. Falkirk had the majority of their squad from last season's league winning team, so knew one another well, and have started strongly, whether they'll be able to keep that up the full season, and handle the rigours in the Championship is up for debate. I think we're in a good place.

*Should've beaten QP and Morton, but were a bit lucky to take 3pts against Raith, with us getting off with a hand ball in our box, and Montano's foul throw leading to our goal.

Going on todays results. Its tight at the top.Ayr dropping points a QP.Weve 2 games in hand against them and one against Falkirk.Could potentially see us top depending on those games in hand.Next up against bottom of the table Airdrie.Where we want to be,within touching distance. Then release the handbrake. 😃⬆👊.

Falkirk were meant to play us today, but have a cup game against Celtic tomorrow, that's why our game against them was off today. So they've played 5 games same as us.

We're 4pts behind Falkirk and Ayr, but Ayr have played 2 more games than us and Falkirk, that's their 3rd draw in a row though, signs of them falling away. We win both our games in hand and we'll go 2nd, need Falkirk to start dropping pts though, big game against them when the rearranged game is played, on Tues 8th Oct.

Can't see us changing how we play now, as much as i'd like us to go more offensive from the start, it looks like Martindale's setting us up to be solid first half with Shinnie playing on the wing, then bringing on the more attacking players against tired legs.

Though tbh i think our current style will work against Falkirk, prob a mistake to take them on head on, we've not played enough games yet to outplay them at their own game, but i think we could beat them playing the way we're playing, and grind out a win.

Time will tell L/F.From what I've seen, get this right and the opportunity is there.Long way to go of course.Theres going to be twists and turns throughout the season.Stay where we are and strike, when it matters,ie Falkirk Ayr etc.👊.
