What a big month coming up for us in the League, with a game against ICT in the tinpot cup too.
Top 3 all play one another, Ayr have Falkirk on the 5th (while we have a tricky game against Partick Th away), before we play Falkirk on the 8th, then we play Ayr on the 19th, and in between that we play ICT on the 12th. Adding to that, all 3 of our league games are away from home.
Going to be a very tough month for us, but really looking forward to it, to see how we stand after playing the top 2 teams in the league. Having Falkirk 3 days after playing Partick is favouring Ayr, through no fault of our own, or Falkirk's really (they're being punished for getting through the LC rounds), we're having to squeeze in a game midweek. I'd rather have had the ICT cup game midweek, where we could've put out some fringe players and had our strongest XI rested for the Falkirk game, but we've a strong squad and 5 or 6 of our fringe players are as good, or better than the starting XI ones.
Anyway, bring it on, Mon the Lions.
