"but typical of Livingston, you turn the corner and you’re kicked in the guts.”

Pretty much sums up Livi tbh.

Sounds fairly promising. Would be happy if he gets Gordon McDougall to stay on as well.

Still unsure who this Graeme Leslie guy is.

The OS is advertising for a new groundskeeper for next season so looks like the 3G pitch isn't happening.

I heard it was the council who are blocking it.

From what I read a while back the council did not think it was viable to make the change in time for next season.

Yep the Council were wanting more details from Livi as they said there wasn't enough in what they were given for the plans to be viable.

It was meant to be put down last pre season, then it was going to be this pre season coming, now it appears still no further forward than when first discussed. Can't say i'm inspired with confidence over Gordon Ford's stewardship, the only plans he mentioned from when he took charge haven't happened and don't look like happening. Just what is he looking to do at Livi, so far we know very little and the little we've been told aint happening.

There will be no Sevco or Hearts to rely on next season for gate money, that's if we manage to stay up in the Championship. Our pre season sales drive in the last 2 seasons has largely relied on Hibs, Hearts, and Sevco being the same league as us to attract ST sales too, they'll need to make a bloody effort to attract sales next season and actually get some kind of communication going to let the fans know what is going on down there. Also need to get the commercial side of things sorted out and get some ideas in place to get the word out to the community that we've a football team in Livingston and why it would be a good way to spend your Saturday coming down to a game.

This^^^^ totally agree lf. It's looking more and more that all Ford ever was is a front man for Rankine!! Nothing but hot air comes out of his mouth, nothing is happening at LFC to improve the standing of the club in Livingston or the wider West Lothian community. No 3/4G pitch,no interaction with our fan base or those we could intice back. What do we get..the GS are playing a game somewhere, really!! As was shown at the big survival game vs QoS last season there is potential at Livi but those in charge haven't capitalised on it.It seems our ship has black sails on it,captained by a man so evil even hell won't let him in!!! Put simply we're a rudderless ship going through the motions,it's soul destroying!!
