Sponsoring a Player

I'll put some money in for it next week when I pick up my season card. Echo Afro's comments to Liviforever for getting this going.

That's me signed up. Only 3 in front of me mind you. Need to get more folk than that. It's still sitting on the reception desk.

Hopefully folk will do it when they collect their season books, think there were about 8 of us initially saying we'd do it and a couple more since so shouldn't be far away from what's needed.

I'll see if I can get a couple of mates to chip in as well.

Good stuff Lexi, I popped down to get my ST and stuck another £20 in, will see if my mate will stick in a tenner on Sat and hopefully once everyone has been down to get their ST's and put in some dosh we wont be far away.

Still need to find the money for my season ticket but if I manage an extra tenner or so I'll put it in. Won't be for another week though.

My mate kindly donated 20 notes to this on Saturday there, looked like we were up to about £90 so half way there.

LiviCub and I went into the reception after the game to put some money towards this but they couldn't find the sheet. I'll try and put some money in next time I'm through.

Oh right, they've had it on the reception desk the twice I went in, i'll drop in on Sat about 12 ish and check they have it for anyone wanting to put some money towards the sponsorship.

Interesting that Big Dec has both shirts sponsored by the same company...so much for the argument that no sponsor would have anything to do with him eh?

Think we were up to £90 when I put in my tenner on Saturday. Lexi still to put in as well, I'll likely top up another tenner next week.

Was down there today to check up on the sheet, stuck another £20 in but we've another £70 still to go before we've hit the target.

Think only 3 or 4 of us from the 6 on this poll has been down, I got a mate and my mother in law to put some money towards it too. If anyone can manage to stick a(nother) £10 to get us over the line it would be great, it will get the forum name on the match program and hopefully attract some posters on here too which would be good. Plus your name will be in the draw for the shirt and photo with the player,  mon guys not too far away now, we can do this.

I've been skint for ages, but I'll be coming in to quite a nice pay packet in a couple weeks so I'll pop down and stick a tidy amount in. I promise!
