Hibs Game Set to be Postponed
Looks like Hibs are doing a Sevco and postponing our game after a 3rd player was called up to an U21 Scotland game.

And indeed the player(s) in question would have played the full 90 minutes and they have such a small squad - remind me which team could only put out 5 subs at the recent game against QoS?

Nice of them to give us a fortnight to rest up and prepare for Sevco at home too, call me cynical but I detect a bit of gamesmanship here.

Bit of a pain in the arse as it would ruin the pre-game skite.
I might take a holiday off work lol.

Was looking forward to this cause I had a squad of people keen to come along for some pre-game beverages in the capital. Mid-week games are gay.

Do they really rely on three young players to beat the Amber Machine? Cool story bro.

They relied on DJ giving them three quarters of his goal to aim at from a free kick the last time we played them.
Cummings is a big player for them though, still think we can get something from this game, almost got a draw in our last game.

The match, postponed on Saturday November 14 due to international call-ups, will now be played on Tuesday November 17, kick-off 7.45pm.
Tough week, Hibs on Tues then Sevco on Sat.

Once again I'm missing a re-arranged match which was postponed because of the international call-up rule. Seething.

Hibs v Livi (Tues 7,45 pm ko)
Only lost to a goal from a free kick at home against them.
Defensively I think we'll hold them to just the one goal, can't see us keeping a clean sheet as our luck just isn't in and they're sure to get a lucky break with a shot going in off someone's arse or something. So we need to get a goal ourselves to take something from the game, or if we could somehow get ourselves a goal up and have something to hold onto and maybe hit them on the counter for another one. Getting carried away with myself I know but one can hope.
Hopefully we go 2 up front or we can forget any hope of scoring, White wont be much use if he's stuck up himself and doubt Buchanan would be much better at getting through their defence without White partnering him.
If Hippo gets on the bench then against tired legs he could be very useful, might even draw a penalty, or free kick just outside the box and stick it in the net like he did against Sevco last season. Time for him to step up and show us what he can do.

They seem to have improved vastly from the game at the Vale. Terrific run of form; I think they will be streets ahead of us and will win comfortably.

Think our defence is going to be severly tested.Saying that however if the lads are really up for it then who knows.Set pieces if we get any could be crucial.Would bite your hand of for any kind of draw right now.

Really looking forward to this. Not so much for a football but the pre-match bar selection now my holiday has been granted.

Re: Hibs v Livi (Tues 7,45 pm ko)
Might have a chance of getting a draw without DJ playing anyway, has there been any game against Hibs over the last two seasons when he hasn't gifted them a goal, dropped the ball at a Hibs players feet from a cross, ball bouncing over his head from an Oxley kick up the park, bad positioning at a free kick........
Can't think of any other team he's made so many mistakes against.

Makes you think.... Is he "one of our own" or one of them?

Errrm...2-0 to Hibs? I dunno, I'm just looking forward to the beverages. Maybe if we win I'll have a celebratory spasbuca or a Burchillbomb.

Re: Hibs v Livi (Tues 7,45 pm ko)
Was thinking of going to this as we hadn't played at the weekend but i'll give it a miss (£22, a fecking joke for a Championship game) and stick £20 in the player sponsor sheet down at the stadium tomorrow instead.
Got my footballing fix at Airdrie v Dunfermline at the weekend so should keep me going till this Sat against Sevco.

The price put me off a little bit, but then I remembered how cold/wet/windy it'll be and I decided to give this one a miss, completely forgot about it until now too.
2-0 Hibs, FG 13 mins.

Re: Hibs v Livi (Tues 7,45 pm ko)
Just seen our starting line up, oh dear.
White up front himself, Millen & Longridge playing a flat back 5? Going for a goalless draw then, can see this being 2-0 Hibs now but i'll stick with my prev prediction.
Expect it'll be the same against Sevco, or White will get the blame for not getting a goal and Buchanan will be the lone striker in that game.
Hopefully we can get a goal from a set piece, or Hippo's shooting gets back to something like last season/early season Clyde cup game.

Re: Hibs v Livi (Tues 7,45 pm ko)
Just hope when Buchanan gets on we don't take White off, we need 2 up front ffs. White flicking a ball on then having to chase after it because he's up there on his lonesome.
Sounds like we're getting plenty balls into the box and winning the first ball. Just need a bit of luck for a Livi player to get onto the knock down.

2 mins to HT, please don't concede a goal now.
We've got a free kick, woo could we score.
Pittman clipped, yellow card to Hibee.
End to end stuff going into HT.
That'll do me, 0-0 HT.

Just checked times of FG, any goal scored now and I'm closest to it.
