Esposito's place has never been confirmed

Weird... I thought we'd signed him but were just waiting on clearance. Maybe all changed when Burchill got sacked.

Thinking the same, doubt we'd have brought in Halkett if Esposito was going to play under Hopkin, might have called the deal off when Burchill was shown the door.

Think it's a Callum Elliot scenario, he wasn't officially signed until he was registered.

Looks like it, same position, right wingback and right sided midfielder. Read he can also can play on the left.

According to the Record, Nottingham Forest have put in a bid for Knox...

All talk until something concrete actually happens. If there is genuine interest from several clubs then hopefully we'll get decent offers and not just take the first one that is put in.

Just watched an interview of Halkett and he's a CB, but has played RB before, looked pretty good playing there anyway.

So we've not actually got a natural RB but we've 6 (six) CB's signed (Gallagher, Gordon, Sives, Cole, Neill & Halkett). Do you think we've got a thing for centre back's at Livi.

The OS has Charlie Telfer in the playing squad, imagine that'll be announced soon.

Burchill-gardening leave
Halkett-free transfer

Sure I read Halkett was released by Sevco before we picked him up.

So the Glassboys finally got Gould on loan after him going on twitter denying he was going.

Sives on an emergency loan to Cowden according to one of their fans on P&B.

Nothing mentioned about it being an emergency on the OCS... Just says he's away on loan until the end of the season as he has been unable to secure a regular start ... Which is a bit unfair as he has been long term injured and we hadn't even heard he was fit again

I've never really rated Sives but it contrasts with Cole who was out long-term and came straight back into the starting line up as a first pick.

I'd have Sives in ahead of Cole based on how both have performed for us

I'd have Neill before either of them.

The Neill that was playing towards the end of his run of starts was looking a wee bit suspect and Sives had a wee bit of an instinct for knicking a goal. But the Neill that was playing at the start of his run of starts was the pick of them defensively.

Neill is a youngster still but like Longridge I think he'd improve with the games. He made an arse of the header back to the keeper against ICT and it cost us the game but every one of our defenders have made similar mistakes, even Gallagher when he was still here. Cole is making them nearly every game though, so doesn't seem to be learning from them.

Quite disappointed Sives is away, because he was probably one of the main players who contributed to us staying up last season (would seem to be an unpopular opinion).

That Darren Cole was flung straight into the team before he was fit, and now Sives, who I rate as a better player with more experience and a better professional, is gone grates me a bit.
