Back to the Betfred cup and a tough away game against Falkirk, they suffered a defeat against St Mirren yesterday but that may well make this an even harder game for us with them more focussed on making up for that loss. Hopefully though we'll give them some more misery and knock them out the cup. bounce

Wonder if Hoppy will start with a different team to yesterday to give some players a wee break before the Brechin game, Maybe Cadden and big Toddy will start, i'd like to see Knox getting a game here too, thought he was excellent against Partick.

I'll go for a 2-1 Livi win, fg 5 mins.

Given our result at Paisley we surely must go into this with confidence but like I have said already, not too bothered about the result of this one.

    Difficult one to predict.

I do think we'll concede a goal but likewise cant see us scoring more than one hence

    1 - 1 at full time
    Livi through 4 - 3 on penalties

We've only conceded 4 goals in 5 games this season and 2 of those were from penalties, however we've scored 9, and are undefeated too, so I think we can feel confident here.

We come out the traps blazing in every game and have created a good chance with a ball across the 6 yard box or a shot on goal in the first minute, feel it in my water we're going to score before we've had a chance to settle into our seats, so dinny be getting stuck in the pie queue or you'll miss it.

Tough one to call. They are gonna be hurting after their debacle in Paisley.Having said that we are playing well at the moment and should have no fears going into this game.I feel the longer the game goes without them scoring will put them under pressure which we can hopefully capatalise on.possibility of pens to decide this one but hopefully the Lions can do the buiseness before it gets to that.Do it Livi!!!

We're going to win win win.
    Grind them into dust
    Absolutely humiliate them
    Kick their sainted grandma
shag their mother and sister (Opps - that could be the same thing)
    Break the corner flag
Take a dump on the centre circle
    Empty their wallets
set alight to the advertising hoardings
Scrawl "Daz Wuz Erez" on the front door
Reverse over their pet guide dug as we leave
Home in time for "Newsnight"; bed and cocoa.

[Alright doctor - I'll come quietly]

I suspect Falkirk will be wanting to bounce back from their pumping on Saturday. I doubt we'll play poorly, but I think they'll have too much for us. A win would be magic but a good performance by ourselves would be enough for me.

Looks like a 3-6-1 from us with Carrick and Longridge making way for Cadden and Robinson.

David Hopkin providing another tactical masterclass, I won't question him.

What a game, what a result, players were absolutely magic.

Robinson is some signing, stunning diagonal ball in from the wing by Mullen and bang, Robinson gets on the end of it and buries it into the net.

We had to work very hard for this win and absolutely deserved it, Falkirk are much better than Dunfermline but we still held our own against them and in the first half we won just about everything in midfield. 2nd half we dropped off for a spell and Falkirk were winning 2nd balls but we came back into it at the end and almost got a winner in normal time.

Cracking goal by Rafa for our 2nd and we should've had a penalty when Mackin was chopped down in the box but as usual we get nothing from a Dallas, totally bottled giving us the pen. Hippo should've been off after a 2nd yellow card offence but again the hapless official bottled it and Hippo bloody knew he should've been off so fell down with his face in the plastic pitch pretending he was injured for a bit of sympathy from the ref and it worked.

Anyhoo feck em, we still won and weren't even put under pressure to see it out, was quite comfortable. Not getting carried away but this team are as good a Livi team as I've seen for a long time, solid as feck and everyone works for one another, Hoppy has assembled a cracking team and got them playing as a hard working unit. Really looking forward to this season to see just how well we'll do.

What is really good about our squad is no matter who gets started in midfield we're strong, obv Pittman and Byrne are crucial but we could pick any other 3 players and we'd have a strong midfield.

Halkett is an absolute stand out too, great goal line clearance from him when Alexander had to come out of his box to header a ball clear and Halkett ran into the goal to cover for him when the shot came in.

Got the good performance I was hoping for, as well as the win to boot. Class night, save for the last 20 minutes when they were piling on the pressure we were the better team, and the only ones in it during ET. Very refreshing to see a group of players here at Livi who are so committed as well as emotionally invested in how well we're doing - can honestly say we've not had that in a long time.

I just can't believe we've beat Falkirk with Scott Robinson up front. Wonderful stuff.

Yeah Shaun Byrne getting the ball over in the corner and hitting it off a Falkirk player and then gesturing to the Livi fans to 'COME ON' was up there with big White getting our 2nd goal at that Cowdenbeath game and giving it large to gee up our fans, great spirit in the team this season. And it doesn't look like they're fighting just to survive in the Championship either, really think we could challenge for a top 4 spot this season.

We've basically got a team of players that have been given a 2nd chance at Livi and boy are they out to prove how wrong a lot of teams were to not give them their first chance. Can't actually believe Byrne and Pittman weren't rated good enough at their previous SPFL/SFL clubs.

Absolutely salivating over that performance from the Lions last night, and it was a privelage to be there to witness it.The never say die attitude shown and the willingness to win was evident both on the feild off play and among the healthy travelling support.Kinda got the feeling before hand that Falkirk were just a wee bit over confident when some of their fans were saying its only Livingston.Oh Dear.Anyway highlight of the night for me was at the end when all the staff and players came over to us and applauded us.You could see that it meant as much to them as it did to us.Massive well done to Davy and the boys!!!

Only saw the highlights, but it didn't look particularly direct, just sounded/ looked like we had them figured out.

Sounds like Peter Houstons attitude is spreading to their players. Delusions of grandeur. They think they are something else.
