Re: January Transfer Window 2019
If he isn't going back to Sevco and is going out on loan then I don't see the point in giving him to anyone but us, he's used to our players and is scoring goals when he plays, you'd think he'd want to keep on doing that and getting as many goals as possible.
Still think he'll be at Livi till the end of the season tbh but if not then we need to get a striker in to push for a top 6 place. We've managed to get to where we are without Hardie, him or another striker for the 2nd half would give us a decent chance of getting there.

Re: January Transfer Window 2019
Yeah, I agree that coming back to us makes most sense & given we have effectively “rehabilitated” him after his injury then you would think that would be a factor but it’s the parent club and it’s lack of moral fibre that worries me.
I also agree that we managed without him pretty successfully but at the same time we missed someone with his eye for goal & his nose for sniffing out a chance.

Daily Ranger has him flying out to our training camp so could be on the cards.

Suspect he's not the only one - there a couple of young faces in this I don't recognise:

Also is a scruffy beard part of the Livi strip now?

Saw Dec, Lee, Al, Rafa, Jack and probably Dolly’s legs... and the scruffy beards were on the faces of guys who have had them all season.
But what about the numpty replying to it asking if Ryan Hardie was the one doing the lunges... he’s in Tenerife with the Huns!!

Re: January Transfer Window 2019
Seen the snaps on the official site and all the youngsters are out there s well (Henderson; Blues; Van Schaik; Pettigtrew) as well as the lad Stewart. The boys out on loan to sides in other divisions (including Knox) are absent and I cant see Lamie or De Vita.

Glen Kamara set to join Rangers this month rather than the end of the season. Could affect us if part of the deal is Hardie going the other way.

Re: January Transfer Window 2019
That would be crazy for Hardie, surely he has some say in the matter. Don't see how playing in a team battling to stay up would do his development any good.

Re: January Transfer Window 2019
Spotted this from the friendly today:
As Sibbald and Cadden are both midfielders; I assume the trialist was a defender?
45 - There is a double Substitution for the Lions. Lithgow & Sibbald are replaced by a trialist & Cadden.

Re: January Transfer Window 2019
Miller was training in the latest pics in Portugal too, so that's good news. His injury can't have been serious in our last game.
Things are looking good for the 2nd half of the season, Raffa will give us a bit of guile and technical ability in our attacking play. Hope he scores at Home, think all his goals last season were in away games.

Re: January Transfer Window 2019
Interesting tweet from Ryan Hardie after Rafa’s goal tonight “What a sight to see” suggesting he was there & I heard a rumour he was there & was wearing a Livi tracksuit...also... not being a twitter type myself I’m not sure what the wee strap lines after a tweeter’s name are called but they look like a basic description or a status... Ryan’s says something like “Rangers player on loan at Livingston”
I’m not suggesting it’s anything definitive, just interesting.

Re: January Transfer Window 2019
Also a report saying that a deal for Ross McRorrie to Dundee on loan had fallen through and that the possibility of Ryan Hardie going there was unlikely since the player himself would rather stay at Livi.
So many rumours and counter rumours. I'll be glad when this window closes.

Re: January Transfer Window 2019
Daily Rangers reckons he's staying with Livi for the whole season too, nothing officially confirmed but i'm def a wee bit more positive about him staying than I was this time last week. Gerrard is after another striker from down south too, a replacement for Morelos, that suggests to me that Hardie isn't in his plans for THIS season.

Re: January Transfer Window 2019
Raffa back and a couple of signings in, getting quite excited about the post winter break part of the season now. If Hardie stays then it will top it off as a great transfer window, managing to keep hold of all our best players.

Wouldn't get too excited, we're still only halfway through it!

Gregg Wylde interview in the DR, saying all the right things, sounds very positive anyway. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/livingston-new-boy-gregg-wylde-13864441

Liam Kelly telling him to get his arse back to Livi too.
