A few red flags coming up reading the Livingston thread on P&B, hope to feck Ward has done a fit and proper person's test on him and checked his bank account.

ohn McIlvogue, 33, admitted storing more than 4,000 items at a business unit in the city's Portman Street in August 2006.

Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that these included fake polo shirts and trainers by labels like Lacoste, Armani, Diesel, and Prada.

McIlvogue was caught in a police and trading standards undercover sting.

A quote from a poster on P&B doesn't help my here we go again fears.

The carpeting business went bust a couple of years after that interview. The retail part of the business seems to be tiny, but limping along although it's appealing a compulsory strike-off.

The connection to Mortons is, for anyone that knows anything about that business, interesting.

    Oh dear…

Most of the downside stuff like storing knock-offs was some years ago… maybe, like DM he is a reformed man?

Hope so, the judge didn't give him jail time, believing he'd got involved with the wrong crowd and was operating honestly before and after that.

You'd like to think John Ward has done research on him and has proof he can give us the investment we're looking for. Ward and Dave Black remaining in their positions running the club is reassuring anyway, as that means the club will be running properly and the new owner(s) will just be putting money into the club, not trying to run it.

Like many im sceptical about this.I can only hope its not a knee jerk decision to whats been happening recently up stairs. We surely must have learned from the demeanours of previous incumbents. Davies cry for help has apparently been answered.Just hope to god we've got this right. We shouldn't have to go through the afterthought all over again.🤷‍🤔.
