Really good addition to the coaching staff.Brings a wealth of experience with him.But more importantly help for Davie when both he and have been asking for.No doubt the Livi dugout will be entertaining at the best of times with these two.Welcome Chipper..

Re: Brian Rice.
Rice was a decent player and as manager kept Accies up longer than anyone expected, so hopefully he can make a positive contribution

Re: Brian Rice.
From my home town, a guid honest lad.
Yeah since Marv left Davie hasn't had a strong assistant to help him, someone with experience of both football playing and management, think this is a very good appointment. Has a decent record keeping a struggling Accies from the drop, staving off a few play off relegations too IIRC.
Also offers us long term continuity, an older guy who's happy being an assistant, and not likely to be looking for a move to another club to be a manager. Younger guys like Marv and Imrie had the burning desire to move for their managerial ambitions, which wasn't ideal for Davie and Livi.
