Season Expectations - 2014/15

2. Star Performer: Keaghan Jacobs
3. Surprise Package: David Robertson, I think he just has to be better than he's being made out to be.
4. Challenge Cup: Quarter's before being knocked out by Hearts, Hibs or Rangers
5. League Cup: Out to a lower league team at the first opportunity
6. Scottish Cup: Out to a fellow Championship team.
7. Most likely to take 12 points off of: Total stab in the dark here but Raith
8. Most likely to take 12 points off of us: Outside of Hearts, Hibs and Rangers, I'll go for Falkirk
9. Will McGlynn last the season: Sacked on the last day of the season with a replacement brought in 5 minutes just before kick off. Just to keep that 2 managers a year vibe going.

1. Final Position:6th
2. Star Performer: I recon DJ will have another belter, can only get better I think.
3. Surprise Package: Not many to pick from so I plump Praprotnik to come good.
4. Challenge Cup: Pumped out of someone like Arbroath
5. League Cup: Beaten of St Johnstone, seems like we always are, un-glamorous
6. Scottish Cup: I recn were due a cup run sooner or later so why not semi finals in this.
7. Most likely to take 12 points off of: Alloa
8. Most likely to take 12 points off of us: Falkirk
9. Will McGlynn last the season: Hopefully not.

4. Challenge Cup: 3rd Round

8. Most likely to take 12 points off of us: The Rangers
9. Will McGlynn last the season: If we're not relegated then I don't see why not.

At the moment with very little to look at in the team and the only signing I know that we've made has a poor rating from fans of the teams he's played for I'm not expecting much. Hopefully we'll sign a few half decent players before we start the season and my expectations will change.

9. Will McGlynn last the season: With our history of sacking managers, No.

2. Star Performer: DJ/Keaghan Jacobs
3. Surprise Package: No one grabs my attention to make me think they'll step up to the plate next season so I'm going with a new signing.
4. Challenge Cup: Im being optomistic about a couple of cup runs this season,surely we're due one so im going for Quarters where we'll humped out by hearts,hibs or the rangers.
5. League Cup: Quarters again.
6. Scottish Cup: 4th round.
7. Most likely to take 12 points off of: Raith or Alloa.
8. Most likely to take 12 points off of us: Outside of the obvious (the new teams) Probably Falkirk.
9. Will McGlynn last the season: Nope. Depending on the start we have he could be gone by Halloween. Even if he is still with us at Christmas I would be surprised if he is come May,given our tendency to change managers I don't see him staying.

5. League Cup: - 3rd Round - knocked out by Celtic at Parkhead.

8. Most likely to take 12 points off of us: Queen of the South
9. Will McGlynn last the season: Yes - we need to stop the manager merry-go-round.

1. Final Position: It'll be a fight between ourselves and Cowdenbeath for 8th spot, hopefully we come out on top.
2. Star Performer: (With our current squad) Darren Jamieson - He'll be kept busy throughout the season and he will win us games.
3. Surprise Package: (With current squad) Callum Fordyce - I know we all know what he's capable of but I think he'll have a good season and have a big part to play whether it's at RB or CB.
4. Challenge Cup: Following yesterday's draw, we won't be seeing the second round until 2015 at the earliest.
5. League Cup: Was wanting to wait until the draw was made but I can't see us making it past the first couple of rounds.
6. Scottish Cup: I would love a Scottish Cup run but depending where we are in the league, we may have to change our priorities.
7. Most likely to take 12 points off of: I would love to take 12 off of Raith with the amount of ex-Livi players they have but more than likely it'll be Alloa.
8. Most likely to take 12 points off of us: I think Hibs will take more off of us than Rangers or Hearts.
9. Will McGlynn last the season: As long as we're not in 9th/10th during the course of the season, he should be in charge. At worst, we finish in 8th at the end and (eventually) move in a new direction under Mark Burchill.

2. Star Performer: Declan Gallagher - Looks far too good for us already. Expect a few goals from corners as well.
3. Surprise Package: Danny Mullen - Saw some brilliant play by him against Arbroath, driving forward and beating men. Obviously poorer opposition but I think he could be very good, above what we expect.

5. League Cup: 3rd Round
6. Scottish Cup: 4th Round - As per every year after we hump the diddy in the previous round.
7. Most likely to take 12 points off of: Alloa. They are really shit.
8. Most likely to take 12 points off of us: Rangers, obvs.

Kind of cheating on the Challenge and League Cup now we know the opponents, apologies.

I'd change mine a bit now we've got players signed and my pre season gloominess has lifted. Bit more optimistic about not getting relegated.

I wouldn't take much from yesterday's game. Had we beaten Queens in the league like we did yesterday id be confident but I can't take anything from a Mickey Mouse cup where queens were missing key players. We will see how we compete against them in a few weeks

We were missing key players too, more so than them in defence.

Agree in so much as not getting carried away but I do think we can take something from yesterdays game, it was the first real test from a team that was better than us last season and we more than held our own against them. That gives me heart that we can compete in the Championship.

I would expect us to improve as the team plays more games too so not that bothered that Queens will also improve.

Well I think I can tear this up and throw it away, only thing I got right there was one of our new signings being a surprise package. You could take you pick really, they're all doing well apart from Ogleby, who tbf hasn't had much of a chance yet with him picking up an injury.

You know after the start we had in our first few games and getting through early cup rounds I thought I was way off the mark with this pre season league placing prediction, not so sure now. I'm really deflated after watching that shite today. Can also see me being right about McGlynn getting the boot if he keeps this shite up with the long ball punts to nowhere.

I was a mixed bag, got some of them right and wasn't far off with others, my Challenge cup prediction and QoS one was way off. Thank goodness my league prediction didn't come true, though it looked like it would going into April.

Emotions all over the place this season with one minute we're doing well, the next we were in a right slump looking like going down, then the end of season great escape. One thing is for sure, it wasn't boring. Who'd want to support Dumbarton and Raith finishing their season in such a mundane way!

I think I done fairly well with this one with regards to DJ, Dycey, Hibs taking maximum points and our final league position. Completely spraffed shite with the Challenge Cup.
