Hi guys Deejay here. Getting used to writing this blog now after only 3 weeks of doing so, must enjoy it!
This week I thought it would be a little more personal to me by explaining my daily morning routine. Let you guys know what a daft goalkeeper needs to go through in the mornings and the lead up to games.
But first we need to discuss the weekend’s game and this week, just like last week, it was Clyde in a cup. League cup this time round and the best way to describe this game is probably similar to last week in that Clyde were very stubborn and made sure we had to really break them down to score the perfect goal. Now the perfect goal for fans and players alike is either an Argentinian 40 pass goal where every player touches the ball and the other team does not or, similar to last weeks goals, screamers. In this cup-tie we helped ourselves to a stylish kick it long, lay it off and finish! Not what I call pretty football but we got the job done – albeit after 120 minutes! Was I thinking penalties? Yes! Was I hoping I was the main man all over again? Yes! But we scored when I was trying to work our their penalty takers and which side I would be diving… Maybe if I am doing this blog when I retire I will try and explain how I go about saving penalties.
Safely through the first round and onto the second round and with the seeded and unseeded nonsense we would have a very tough tie no matter whom we drew. St. Mirren away is who we came up against and like I said - tough tie! We will go there with the intentions we have in every match and that is to win the game no matter what needs to be done. I have the same opinion as I did last week, when it comes to playing teams 4-5 times a season, because even though I have not played at St. Mirren\'s ground I will have had enough of the place come May 2016!
But, on a serious note, I am all for reconstruction of Scotland\'s leagues with more teams in each. Means different locations every week of the season and different teams, players and strategies to overcome. Better hand my CV into the SFA after that speech! Back on track, I’m excited to play St. Mirren in the cup because it’s a good draw for us and hopefully we get through that and into the next round.
Ok no more football… Put the ball away my best friends say on a night out if I am talking about it. Morning routines are very similar every week and do not alter much unless I do not wake up on time (happens less every season). Wake up at 7am, actually turn off my alarm at 7am for the next alarm at 7.15am, if you do this, you know exactly what I’m like in the mornings. Then I am up but still have 2 alarms left just in case. Once I am up I like to get changed straight away into clothes that are comfortable to drive 25 miles to Livingston!
For you who do not know, I have moved from my childhood town in Livingston to Edinburgh, the ‘big smoke’ as the say or ‘Auld Reekie’ as my mum says. I am a city boy now. Everything is so different through here and I am loving it! Wish my best mates stayed next door still but we can compromise that one!
So once I am up and ready for the day I get to the kitchen for my daily intake of crazy proteins. First it’s scrambled egg and toast with my little cup of tea. Once that is done and dusted I make up a concoction of apple juice and a teaspoon of creatine. Creatine helps build me up because I am a skinny lad, get it from my dad. Then as I am leaving the house another protein shake is made up and drunk in the car on the way to the stadium. Never tastes the best but it needs to be done.
So leaving the house around 7.50am to go a few miles along the road to get Mr. Currie (Ryan Currie) standing at the bottom of the road every morning waiting on the Deej mobile carefully driving around the corner (what?! I am a great driver!) Then we head to the park and ride on the edge of Edinburgh, Hermiston Gait to get another 2 lads in the team. Bucks (Liam Buchanan) and Sivvy (Craig Sives) hop in the car there and we continue the drive another mile or so to the Dalmahoy hotel where we pick up Jordyn Sheerin and head to Livingston for 9am. We give ourselves 30 minutes from the park and ride and have not been late as of yet! (Famous last words!)
Onto the questions you have asked this week on twitter using #AskDeejay and they are great this week, really having to think about them.
@richh43: asking who is the best up and coming youngster at Livingston?
A great question met with a great answer because I like all the young kids in full time just now. Firmly believe Currie (my car mate) will produce big things for Livi in the close future and the likes of Quinny, who has made the bench the last few weeks, will be an ideal replacement once I hang up the boots or move on from Livi.
Next question is from @shawzaam: What is your best Livi 19s/reserves/youth 11?
This question gets me in trouble because I have played with so many great players its hard to pick my one2eleven and even harder when I pick myself! We are playing a very changeable 4-2-3-1 and I have chosen to play myself in this team because I would have loved to be part of this team, so goalkeeper is myself.
Right back is one of 3 triplets, Devon Jacobs and left back is his brother Sheldon Jacobs. Both played with me from a very, very young age and both are so alike which made them excellent on either side of the park. Two centre backs are, my best mate in football, Callum Fordyce and, the recently departed coach Neil Hastings. Both so good at what they did… Neily used to head the ball all day every day and Dycey does the whole back fours running and sweeping up.
Two sitting centre midfielders are the last remaining triplet Kyle Jacobs and Stefan Scougall, both great players but oh so different. One of them loved a tackle, header the ball and work so hard for the team and the other was a little wizard with the ball at his feet. I will let you decide who is who.
Further up and my attacking prowess would be a handful for any first team in Scotland these days. Both wingers are excellent crossers of the ball and very direct. On the left Andy Halliday (now at Rangers playing centre midfield) and on the right, Robert Snodgrass. My number 10 role or do whatever you like role is given to Marc Sparky McNulty because he does what he wants on the football park anyway, and most importantly he is a goal machine! Then my out and out striker has a goal scoring record that speaks for itself, anywhere he has went he has played so well and that’s the other Sparky, Leigh Griffiths. Both Sparkys could score a goal from anywhere inside 30 yards from goal and still amaze you every time!!
Thanks for reading guys and keep your questions coming into @affinity_tv using the hashtag #AskDeejay
See you next week!

That would be a sight to behold seeing Scougs, Snoddy, McNulty and Griffiths playing together for Livi.

There's a very small chance they could be playing together for Scotland, somehow doubt it though.

In the Mix with Deejay! Week 4
Hi guys, Deejay here. Fourth blog of the season now and unfortunately need to talk about a defeat and how I personally handle it and move onto next week.
First of all lets go back through the game in our... Match Report vs. raif 0-3. Where do I even start? I personally think this result is a lot worse than it looks. The boys on the day worked so hard on and off the ball. We had a few cracking chances in the game that if we had have taken of course it is a different story. Now this blog has been written after watching back the video, like we always do, and assessing what we done well and what the gaffer wants every week and what we can improve on. This week the team sat down expecting a little bit of a shouting match. But as we look over the game, first 10 minutes I touched the ball twice. Once to kick up the field and once to pick the ball out the net which indicates we had most of the play, including 4 corners and 2 shots on target in that space of time. The goals we concede as like last season never seem to be the perfect goal, they always hit legs or rebound through towards the goal before a poacher like striker nips in and finishes off the move just like the first goal on Saturday.
For me, personally, I was very disappointed in my game because of three very simple reasons. I let in 3 goals I think later in the season I will save. The first goal, I felt I anticipated the finish well but had no conviction to really save the ball, second is a penalty and even though it is a 50/50 I second guessed myself for the first time in 24 years of penalties. McCord (previously at Alloa fc) missed a penalty last year because I knew he would whip the ball across me to my right hand side. Now this time I looked at him staring at the right hand side of the goal and I am straight thinking he is going the other way… Aaaah but what if? Worst thing to do! No what ifs, just instinct. So I found myself very frustrated to not only to be 2-0 in the game but also to feel like I should have kept the game at 0-0 or at least prevented those two incidents from being goals.
The third is pretty much like the first in my opinion, anticipated well but the power beat me because I never had any real desire to throw myself at the ball. I can hear people asking why? Its simple really, what if (there it is again!!) the striker goes the other way and makes me look silly. Stand up and react to the shot is always the cry of every single goalkeeping coach in the world. So another lesson learned on my mixed career so far and moving onto Queen of the South next week.
How I handle a defeat and get motivated for the next game? Seems like an easy question too. Just forget about it Deej, its just a game... My mum trying to be supportive, on the odd occasion this makes me worse! Not just a game anymore. There is so much more on the line. We have to build a relationship and a trust with fans and coaching staff to stay in the team and to gain trust, we, as players need to play well every week. Yes, impossible to play well every week but I will try my hardest to get better than last week that is for sure!
So after games there is a period straight after the game where I do all the thinking. Cool down all the players who played the 90 minutes have a few laps of the pitch then do some light stretches while subs do a little bit to maintain fitness. In this period I practically re-live the game and sometimes it’s not pretty. I have a wee chat with teammates and say I should have done this better and should have thought about doing this and then they respond with their thoughts on the game too.
Then once the cool down and deep thinking is done I need to get it out of my mind, win, lose or draw we have another game which can be as early as 3 days later and all the focus has to be on the next game. I think people forget that football players are very similar to fans in that they need down time from work and the only day that is possible is Saturday night. Now everyone is different. I much prefer going up to see my best mates and sit and chill with them, recently had a thing for beer pong, I have no idea why! But the Deej is the champ then Sunday going for a long walk and loosen off the legs as order of our physio Panda McKenzie (Someone at the weekend shout down Hiya Panda!! He will love it!) Then get straight back into the working week like everyone else on a Monday and try and better myself and make the team better as a result.
My question this week is from @scottr95: What’s the best and worst thing about being a goalkeeper?
Incredible question this one. Worst thing is probably like any other goalkeeper, making a mistake usually costs a goal in a game. Concentration levels need to be spot on every single week and I always need to do the right things. I am changing the question to best things because there are so many! I love diving about in a goal, I love coming for a cross and taking out strikers and anyone else who wants to get in my way, I love the adrenaline rush I get when the ball comes close to my goal, I love trying to impress every single person in the stadium with saves or penalties and most of all I absolutely love celebrating when we score a goal. If you have not seen me turn towards my goal when a goal goes in for us, I just go crazy it’s such a good feeling!!
Now as well as my blog, my good friends at Affinity TV have included me in their Livi Live show and I have my own segment in the show called DJ deejay!
Give it a watch and as always keep your questions coming in to Affinity TV using the hash tag #askdeejay
Thanks for reading see you next week!

In The Mix with Deejay! Week 5
Hi guys, Deejay here for my weekly blog and this week a much more positive outlook for me personally but again my match report has a poor performance and a defeat added to the mix, all in one.
This week I will talk you through my preparation for mid week games and how it differs from the games we have at weekends. So first my match report… 0-1 vs. Queen of the South. In my opinion, the team most likely going on last year’s performances to finish behind the so-called top 3. Which only means we can look at this result as poor but a definite improvement. From the teams point of view we all thought we were too direct, too rushed and far too naive on and off the ball. But when we started to pass the ball and believe in ourselves we really did pop the ball about well and get the ball moving further up the pitch towards the queen’s goal. We now know that Tuesday night (I wrote this on Tuesday morning) will be a hard game because we are away but we have nothing to fear.
Personally my game was so much stronger on Saturday. I had a little shaky moment when Hilson ran across me after I sprinted to the edge of the box and had to move it away from him. Luckily I got a free kick and rightly so in my opinion. He impeded my kick. So after that I had a few good saves in the first and second half from the Queens’ front 4 especially Lyle\'s effort in the first half that I tipped around the post for a corner. My kicking was solid too, I always feel like kicking is the one thing in a game I need to concentrate on most because too far to the middle of the pitch and big daft centre backs head it back down our throats and too wide it goes out the pitch of course. So personally, disappointed in the result and we know we can play much better and work much harder on and off the ball but I have a building block to get even better in the cup tonight!
Now preparation for a weekday game is always different and a little more nerve racking, in my opinion. Monday mornings automatically change to a Friday in that we have the same preparation for weekend games that we do mid week games. This week I lost the sprints so I had to belt out my rendition of Kenny Rodgers - The Gambler… A personal favourite of mine and one of the few songs I know the majority of the lyrics. No surprise to anyone who watched the video we made on Affinity TV, they tried making me nervous by reminding me I have a blog to write and I should include I lost (thanks Jordyn and Bucks)
Now on the day of the game we have all day to chill and relax before the game but I end up thinking more about the game and how it will pan out. Now it’s cup football again and the Petrofac Training Cup is currently ours and ours to keep. So we need to make sure we fight hard to retain the cup and bring it back to Livi. It’ll be a hard game but the same opponents as Saturday so we know what to expect and we should know how to handle the occasion. So as I said earlier, I like to chill out before a game and stick on a TV series. Right now I am very much into Sons of Anarchy! It’s a really great series for anyone who has not seen it. Those episodes all dotted in between eating breakfast and having a bit of lunch. Then the preparation for the game starts by getting changed and ready to leave for the stadium.
We get a coach to the further away stadiums with Queens being one of them. All the boys get on the bus to travel down to a nearby hotel for some fish, beans and pasta otherwise known as pre match. Then the manager’s team talk can be at the hotel or left until we get to the stadium. That’s when we will find out the team and strategy we have to implement to get one over on the opponents. Hoping for a much more positive result and glad there was a game so close to Saturday so we can rectify our mistakes and make amends. Hoping a very positive result and a place in the next round of the cup.
I have 1 question again this week so make sure you keep asking me your questions every week by tweeting Affinity TV and use the hash tag #askdeejay
This weeks question is from @danielf929:
What is it like playing against old teammates? Is there pre/post match banter?
I love playing against old teammates especially senior players that I did not play with much when I was on the bench for the first team. Simple reason to prove to them and myself I am good enough to compete with Livingston teams past and present. As for banter, yes, there is always banter amongst the players right up to and including the game. I had a little chat with Robbie Thomson on Saturday about the last time we played at Livi last season in the snow and had a bit of banter there. Also spoke to Shauny and Ky after the game just to see what their manager and teammates thought of the game.
Thanks again for reading and see you next week!

In The Mix with Deejay! Week 6
Hi guys, Deejay here for another rendition of In the Mix with Deejay! This week we discuss the banter on bus journeys to away games and how we cope with long journeys and late nights but first as always our match report.
We have 2 this week because I wrote my last blog before the Petrofac Training Cup game last week. 1-0 AET vs. QoS… I think this game was very much the same as the Saturday game. No one really dominated the game at any one stage and loads of scrappy bits of play that both teams hoped would fathom a chance at goal. Looking back at the result, I did not see a goal in the game at all. From about 50 minutes into the game, Queens had a corner and the striker said I think it is penalties... I had to agree with him. No team was budging nor making chances to score. I think I counted 4 saves in the game from both goalkeepers - 2 a piece and 1 goal. To confirm the goal was handball but also I think a penalty would have been given, which I would have placed my mums house on someone to step up and score…(except Jordyn Sheerin). I had a few very shaky moments which I am lucky on this occasion I got away with. 2 very poor and silly kicks that landed straight to the opposing strike force, luckily they did not put any of them away. So from Tuesday Gouldie and me have practiced the left footed clearances and hopefully it does not happen again. So overall delighted to get through in the cup last Tuesday and happy with the next round draw against the new look Rangers. Can not wait to be tested against them and hoping for a positive result.
On to Saturday’s game vs. Falkirk... 1-2. Again a very narrow defeat but on this occasion I think it is a fair reflection on the game. We tried to pass and play and looked slightly lackadaisical in our play. We went long when we should have went short and short when perhaps in behind the Falkirk defence was the best place for the ball to be and us to get up the pitch and try play in their half. First half passed the whole team by but none more so than me. For some reason I felt like I had to do everything 100mph on Saturday and that caused my teammates and me a lot of unforced and unnecessary problems. My kicks were sometimes too long or not accurate enough… My positioning for both Falkirk goals was questionable and I just was not happy, I did not do anything to prevent goals going in the net. After all it is my job and so far no clean sheets in the league.
So after the 2 games we have played my composure and calmness needs to be right and all the mental side of the game needs to improve, so I can help the team out and keep clean sheets. Onto a St. Mirren double-header and hopefully you lot notice a difference in my calmness in the next 2 games we play.
Now onto more behind the scenes chat... The bus banter! Now we all have individual car schools within the changing room... Edinburgh car school being the best because I am in it! Along with Bucks (The Joker), Sheerin (The steal jokes from the joker and use them Joker), Currie (The Quiet Lad), Sivvy (The Chilled Out Lad) and myself - The Stupid Goalie!! But for away days we all become one big travelling pool of players and the banter never seems to stop.
Whether it is pictures getting sent into the group chat about who has the best look-alike or just general banter on the bus itself! If you have any the boys on Snapchat you will understand where I am coming from...
This week the travelling took us to Dumfries where we all gather for some pre match chicken, fish, pasta and beans before heading to the game. Then once the games done and the bus is loaded it is another long journey back up the road. Made all that bit easier by a victory and the guys on the bus enjoying the camaraderie back home. This week’s special mention is Jordyn Sheerin again for being a good sport when Gouldie and me played the oldest prank in the book... The hiding of the trainers. He searched everywhere. Told him the directors down the front had his trainer then it was in the toilet then in the shelves above our heads (he checked every single shelf!!) but he found it eventually when he noticed Gouldie had the trainer on his foot and we could not hold in the laughter! So away days as you fans call it is much different for players but all the same jokes you would expect to hear.
I have 1 question again this week from R2D2 himself (@Madge_esty on twitter)… Any superstitions before games?
I used to have about 40 superstitions. Now I only have 1. They used to range from putting my left sock on first to my right gloves on first. My under shorts went on backwards before I changed them back to normal. Ridiculous things really but I always thought it made me play better. Got rid of all my superstitions because I did not play better! And now all I have is running out the tunnel and jumping as high as I possibly can then turn and acknowledge all the fans and clap them for coming to watch us play. I have no clue why but it is stuck now and I will do it every time I play in my career from now on!
Thanks again for reading my blog this week guys and remember watch my show DJ deejay on Livi live and I will see you guys next week!

In the Mix With Deejay! Week 7
Hi guys Deejay here. This week’s blog includes a little inside run down on a typical session done at the early parts of the week (Monday/Tuesday session) including prehab circuit training and what is involved to be a professional footballer.
But as always first up this week is match report! And this week it looks very good from a Livingston point of view. 2 games, against the buddies, and 2 results. Now results meaning we did not lose any of the 2 games (1 win 1 draw) I cannot help thinking what if the results were the other way around and we took them to penalties in the cup, while gaining 3 points in the league? Anyway first game was the league cup game Tuesday night... 3-2 vs. St. Mirren. This game had it all, bookings, red cards, goals, fights, scraps, little pieces of quality here and there and probably the most important thing for the fans other than the result... Entertainment!! We go down 1-0... Then up 2-1 before the buddies claw back another goal only for us to win it right near the end. Great game to be involved in and delighted to have played.
Performance wise we were pretty solid in all areas. Goal scoring can be a problem for the lions, which is why when you see 4 goals from 2 games it can only be an improvement on the other side of the things. Silly, basic errors for St. Mirren’s goals means we can get better at that side of things. Stopping crosses is what gets enforced every week... From defenders stopping them to myself cutting them out at the front post. First goal on Tuesday rolls about 2 yards from my foot and I decide to turn and try and protect the goal. Absolutely no need to protect the goal from there. Just dive on the ball. Simple! Beat myself up a little when that goal went in. But glad we managed to Nick 2 goals to get us back on top. Second goal from the saints was a little rush of blood from Danny after a corner resulting in a free kick in which Mallen calmly slotted in the postage stamp. Not an awful lot I could do there. But delighted for big Dec who celebrated a goal on Tuesday night and then the birth of his baby girl early hours of Monday morning. Congratulations again big man!
Onto Saturday… 1-1 vs. St. Mirren back at their stadium for another 90 minutes and this time is played out so differently! 1-1 was probably the right result in the end but the game was so much flatter and slightly disappointing considering the game we played out on Tuesday night. Bucks continued his goal scoring form of 2 in 2 for us (long may that continue) but no team played well enough to open up the other team. It was a stalemate of a game.
Now a Tuesday training session. Think you could handle it? Being a professional footballer? Because we only run about a field or my position just catch the ball?Let me take you through a usual day and see if I change your mind a little. So I have told you my morning routine of waking up at 7 to be in for 9am. Once we are in we have 15 minutes to get ready and get our butts into the gym for prehab. Prehab is basically exercises we all have to do to strengthen our muscles, make us more flexible or loosen us up for training at 10.15am. We have 7 exercises which ranges from band work to weights and balance work in between. 3 sets of 10 on every exercise leave us with a little sweat on before training. Then the team does a full body foam roll just massage the muscles and help them recover. Then back round for a spot of protein made up by the Kitman Cheb, boots on (and gloves) for training around the back of the stadium and get into what we do best... Plaaaaaaaay ball!
Goalies always train separately because we are a different breed of player. We want to dive about crazy and throw ourselves at the ball. Do not know why? We just do. First we always start with footwork. One area I have improved massively but need to keep improving too. Then into little quarter turns and a low save. Before the good stuff happens. Once we are warm we do crazy amounts of explosive stuff. Everything top or bottom corner and then one final striker just to keep you on your toes. Once that is done we get the call from the manager to do little drills to help the strikers improve their finishing. Basically, 3 versus the goalie to try and score a goal. Usually leads to frustrated goalkeepers but at least they score goals I guess. Once the little drills are done its rounds of games... 6vs6 on a 40-yard pitch and it is crazy how fast the tempo is. Boys moving everywhere and running off the ball all the time. Crazy goals, silly goals and the odd occasion… A clean sheet.
So training finished for the day now we have to partake in the gym session in the afternoon, which is a 45 minute circuit of loads of different exercises laid out by physio Panda Mackenzie. 30 seconds on and 10 seconds to get to the next station. After the circuit the day is done. Showered and home to relax. Think you could handle it?
I have 1 question this week I gave a lot of thought too and it is from @greg_forrest99:
Who is the best striker/attacking team u think are in the Championship this season? And will you be nervous facing them?
Best strike force in this league for me is Rangers. Their frontline look unstoppable at the minute and any team will be delighted to get a point off them never mind go and try winning the game. Waghorn, Miller and Clark upfront... Halliday, law and Holt in the middle of the park. Crazy looking frontlines right there. Will I be nervous? I think it is more excited to test myself against them and see how we get on.
Thanks for reading guys see you next week!

"any team will be delighted to get a point off them never mind go and try winning the game." Typical of us these days, shitebagging it and settling for absolute mediocrity at the very best.

Re: DJ's Blog
After his performance against Morton it should be Gould feeling nervous/excited about testing himself.
Time he stopped the blogging & sorted out his game!

Re: DJ's Blog
DJ is the only player to have played in every game this season.
maybe Gould deserves a wee chance in goals.

100% Jamieson should be dropped.

Saw on Twitter he's acknowledged his poor performance, fair play to him for holding his hands up.
Still needs dropped though as I don't think this Gould laddie can be any worse at the moment.

Re: DJ's Blog
No one is questioning his honesty, his blog has shown that he is very critical of his own performance but he seems to be suffering from a loss of confidence which is fatal in a keeper.

Yup, exactly. Burchill NEEDS to drop him. It's so obvious.

If he's under the impression he's got the keepers shirt no matter how he performs then it isn't doing him any favours really. You need competition for places to get the best out of players.

Totally correct LF as I've said he is the only player who has played in every game and it isn't doing him any good at all or the team for that matter.Cole is another who seems to be a certainty every week just because he is captain which is just so wrong but hey ho it's Livingston FC .

Well he's held his hand up to having a bad game anyway, got to admire his honesty. Unfortunately though it isn't going to help now and still think Gould deserves a chance. Best of luck to him though if he keeps his place, will be a tough game against Sevco and he'll need to be on top form.
In the Mix With Deejay! Week 8
Hi guys Deejay here! This week I look at the new look Rangers team and how I look forward to the game against them at the weekend.
But first, as ever, we have the match report... 2-4 vs. Morton! Aw man, where do I even start with this one? Shocker! One to forget! Best just not talk about it... All these things probably sum up my performance on the day. Bad decisions, not doing what I was told to do quick enough or throwing the ball out the pitch. Nothing I seemed to try came off at all. To make things worse I made 2 really bad mistakes, which lead to goals.
The goalies worst nightmare is one... And I had 2!! Now get the excuse book out. We had a man sent off. It changed the game, impacted on the team because it was harsh. I have no excuses this week at all. Only thing I can do is show the fans, players and coaches alike that I can and will do better in every other game we have this season and start climbing up the leaderboard. As a team I think the boys worked so hard on the day and tried to implement what the gaffer asked of us even though we went to 10 men. The 2 goals we scored were positive and especially my big mate Jordyn Sheerin - cracking finish from the lad! And hopefully many more finishes like that to come. Then even near the end of the game hippo hit the bar, if that goes in it changes the game again for us to have about 4-5 minutes to salvage a draw and try get ourselves out of a hole.
But it was not to be and now we need to focus on the next game. Which is my talking point this week. The new look Rangers FC. What has changed? New manager. New players. No Hearts in the league to try catch up too? Right now I think all of these things come into play. Mr Warburton seems to have developed a style of play that has helped Brentford to the team they are now and Rangers have went on a winning streak at the start of this season. Players they have brought in have all made instant impacts... Halliday steadies the ship… Kiernan and Wilson both solid, quick, strong defenders, Waghorn scoring goals and Oduwa rainbow flicking his way to being a success at Rangers! My opinion of the rainbow flick? 100% encourage it. If Messi did that everyone retweets it on a vine or Twitter and we see it for weeks. Do it in Scottish football and your branded disrespectful. That is the difference.
Final point on the Rangers change is that no one is early pace setters this season, like Hearts last year. There isn not that much pressure on them to catch up so to speak and they are enjoying their football. Hopefully on Saturday though we take the bull by the horns and frustrate them so much that we put them off their game. Looking forward to Saturday as much as any other Saturday and even better if we stop the winning run the Rangers are on!
Another question this week from @RyanProctor_: How did you get involved in football and what made you become a keeper?
Very good question because I do not really remember how I became involved as such. I watched football with my dad on TV every weekend, it was always on the TV and I did tell my mum when I was 8 I wanted to do what they guys do! How did I become a keeper...? The goalie for our team got injured while I was playing centre back and I volunteered to go in goals and used to tackle the strikers running through until my coach told me I can use my hands as well. Then I went diving at their feet with my hands and my body in the muddy, soaking wet ground. Ever since then I have been a goalkeeper and been a bit crazy ever since!
Thanks for reading guys! See you next week

Re: DJ's Blog
I think his self assessments have been honest all season so far. IMO he is referring to the 1st and 3rd goals
