Dumbarton v Alloa & Falkirk Empty Dumbarton v Alloa & Falkirk

Post by Liviforever Sun Mar 06, 2016 1:35 pm

Not at this same time obv, though it would've been fun to watch.

With us having no game next week all Livi eyes will be on the Dumbarton results. Hopefully Alloa can muster something against them on Tues night and get at least a draw, and Falkirk pump them silly. This will take them up to the same amount of games as us so we'll see better where we stand to catch them.

I'd take an Alloa win as I feel we're enough in front of Alloa to afford them 3 points, but a draw would do. Either way if all goes well they'll be 1 or 2 points ahead of us and if we can beat St Mirren we'll have a good chance of moving above them and only being 1 point behind St Mirren. QoS would have to do us a favour and beat Dumbarton too but with Beany in their side that should be a given, mon the Beany.

I've prob set myself up for a huge let down here, wish I could be like Bertie and see the glass half empty but heyho, I've let Livi get me all optimistic again.

    Mon Alloa, Falkirk & Qos.

    Mon the Livi Lions.

Glass half empty says, Dumbarton will lose to Alloa just to get us looking over our shoulder again and then pump Falkirk (they are due a bad result soon) to restore the cushion over us. We will then fail to beat Saints and Dumbarton will get at least a draw... Then we will be into the harder games with games running out.

Just to balance LF's optimism Very Happy

Just checked the score and see Alloa have equalised to make it 1-1 and then Dumbarton scored a minute later to go back ahead. 2-1 Dumbarton, mon to feck Alloa.

HT and still 2-1 Dumbarton, hopefully Alloa get their fingers out and score at least one goal 2nd half.

Dumbarton with 10 men could make for an interesting ending...

Unfortunately it made no difference to the scoreline.

Ah well,  we're 4 points behind them, Falkirk should beat them on Sat, I hope.

QoS lost to Raith so again hopefully they take it out on Dumbarton and St Mirren in their following games.

Pretty much all over for Alloa now, going down with a whimper.

You would! Now they'll win every game for the rest of the season! geek

You should be relegated to the liquidation league if you allowed Christian Nade to score a hat-trick.

Well that didn't exactly go to plan, isn't looking good for QoS to do us a favour and beat Dumbarton this weekend either, that's them looking like losing their 3rd game in a row after tonights game with Morton, currently 3-0 down with 37 mins left.

3-2 now, maybe some hope of a queens win on Sat after all, lets hope so anyway.
