Away Kit
Heard from P&B that the away kit should be revealed this week and that it is likely to be purple. As I said on there, I think it's good we're going for something a bit different but will have to see with the sponsers etc. on.

Re: Away Kit
If the badge and sponsors are white, then the simple design will make it more appealing.
I know we don't have a consistency when it comes to away kits but I won't be purchasing it this season on the grounds that I purchase one shirt per season and change it over the following season i.e away shirt last season, home shirt season.

Re: Away Kit
We've had a few really smart away shirts - last season for one, the blue fasteq one a couple of years ago, and I remember a cracking red Errea one too.
Hope the next one is a beauty too.

Green? Very strange choice.
Presumably this one? http://www.joma-sport.com/short-sleeve-rival-green?ref=148&fc=5

Scandalous, sacrilege, shocking...of all the colours available - green???? Burn them!
If we ever wear that when I am in attendance I will be forced to support the opposition on a point of principle!

Might want to avoid tomorrow's game then, the Football Nation twitter has hinted that we'll be wearing it.

Re: Away Kit
Wouldn't mind a lime green but the one EL linked to looks like the Hibs new strip and that looks awful.
I don't buy tops anyway so wont effect my choice,

mozam's on the wind-up, fortunately. Football Nation have just tweeted a youtube link of Purple Rain as a tease.

Not me at the wind up EL - I got hooked like a prize salmon!
It's a beautiful looking kit - the yellow of the badge against the purple is perfect.

Just watch yourself or you're heading for a ban, right? Green would have been proper awful.mozam76 wrote:Not me at the wind up EL - I got hooked like a prize salmon!

Totally agree though, looks so much better than I expected it to! Purple & yellow is always a winner.

Re: Away Kit
Bertie, it's absolutely stunning. As I've said elsewhere, I had real reservations about Joma providing the kit, but they have done us proud. They're template kits that still manage to look really individual.
I know it's all subjective, but I for one think they'll do more than nicely, thanks very muckle.

EL - I cannae believe you think THAT was worthy of a ban. I thought if anything would get me banned it would have been me sticking up for Sives...

Maybe it's just ma ee'n but that looks blue to me.
Another thing, what has purple to do with Livi FC?

Re: Away Kit
Not my favourite away kit but it still looks really good.
Purple was the colour of our kit when we were in Europe and was our away kit when we won the League Cup.

Re: Away Kit
The only reason we had purple before was because we were sponsored by Intelligent Finance who specifically requested our away kit be in their corporate colours. This coincided with the white home kit which prompted many to think that the white kit was originally going to be the away kit until IF took on shirt sponsorship but that is conjecture.
I am of the opinion that anything goes for away kit but my preference is for a variation on the home kit. Amber shirt & black shorts for home; all black or black shirts & amber shorts.
Home kit should ALWAYS be club colours. Which should be amber/gold (NOT yellow) & black. Stripes are acceptable as are hoops (the original Ferranti strip was hoops, personally I don't like hoops but technically they are acceptable).

Re: Away Kit
Kit will be launched this Saturday and pre-orders are currently being processes.
I am tempted to purchase it and maybe get a name on the back but I'm unsure who to get. Might just draw a name out of the hat to see who I end up with...
What player would you all go for out of curiosity?

Yep, only I'm a tad overweight and it would draw attention to my spare tyre if I wore that on a shirt.
