Our next 4 games are very winnable,

    Alloa A
    Stranraer H
    Airdrie A
    Stenny H

Teams we've beaten twice already this season (in the league) and with the new signings making us even better there is an excellent chance for us to get 12 points out of 12 from those game. Looking at the teams Airdrie and Alloa have in those same fixtures, we could be between 17- 20 points clear of both of them by Feb.

    Alloa

    Livi
    East Fife
    QP
    Airdrie

    Airdrie

    Peterhead
    Brechin
    Livi
    Alloa

The top 4 would prob be different by then too right enough with East Fife and QP moving up into it. And with QP being our next again fixture maybe we'd actually beat them if they were a top 4 team. lol!

Disappointing not to get the 3 points today after losing our lead on the 86th minute and then Mullin squandering the chance to regain it in the 91st min when Todorov was free for a tap in.

Still think we can get 9 points from our next 3 games though and both Alloa and Airdrie will drop points. Really should beat Stranraer next week and then a huge game away to Airdrie.

Not exactly going to plan here with us drawing 2 games, but we've an extra game now with the Rovers postponed game arranged for tomorrow, so still a chance to get 17 points clear by Saturday. Beat Rovers and we're 15 clear, Airdrie play Alloa so hopefully that will be a draw or an Airdrie win and we beat Stenny and go 17 clear. Albeit we'd have played a game more than Alloa and Airdrie.

Or for everything to go our way Airdrie need to beat Alloa, and Alloa draw with East Fife on their Tues night game and we'd still be 17 points clear. Most importantly though we need to win our next 2 games and not feck up my plan. Laughing

If we can maintain at least a 10 point gap with the sides below until Airdrie visit in a month's time then I think we'll be home and hosed. Quite convenient this season that the sides below all seem to take points off each other, has helped us when we've slipped up in particular. I'm expecting at least 25 points between now and the rest of the season too, I can't see Airdrie or Alloa winning all their matches now.

The best laid schemes o mice an men have gang aft agley.....

Postponed games with a waterlogged pitch have put those plans to ruin. Now we're set for the 3 hardest games we could possibly have, the 3 teams we've struggled against the most are who we play next, and in the space of 7 days too (weather permitting with our home games).

Up next is QP at Hampden, a team we have lost to playing them both home and away, we just really struggle to break down their defence, maybe Todorov will make a bit of a difference (hopefully Hopkin will bring him on to see).

Then a midweek home game against Albion Rovers (3rd time lucky), another team we struggle to break down, again big Tod might help burst through their defence like he has every time he's come on for us.

And up last in the trilogy of tough games, East Fife at home (what's the chances we'll get 2 home games in 4 days played) They have proven to be both tough in defence and dangerous in attack, we did beat them 3-1 at home but with the pitch in the state it is it'll make it that much more difficult for us.

If we can get through those games with a couple of wins we'll be doing well, the results in those games will go a long way on deciding how easy or difficult our run in is going to be. Mon Livi, huge 3 games coming up.

So what we are looking at is the 12 point lead we had before kick off yesterday, possibly evaporating in the space of 2 weeks unless we can somehow work out how to beat the sides we have struggled most against.

As I said elsewhere, the job is nowhere near done.
