At 3-0 I was thinking "They're going to do it, they're going to pull off the impossible."
Then PSG started to look really threatening on the break and I had tipped them to score in this leg. When they made it 3-1 with half an hour to play I thought "Barce might get 2 more but they'll never get 3."
What an absolutely stunning free kick from Neymar to make it 4-1 with 3 mins left of the 90. Softish pen for the 5th but I'd have been claiming it for sure but even when that went in to make it 5-1 in the 1st minute of added time I couldn't see them getting the winner. Then when I saw it was to be 5 mins injury time, I thought they might have a chance. Ter Stegen came up for a free kick which was a very poor attempted chip into the box from Messi and then scrambled back to win the ball and then another free kick near the centre circle in the PSG half. So he's still forward and PSG have flooded the defence and time just slipping away, they take it short, Neymar runs a few yards with it and chips it over the mass of players, everyone seems to look and think "It's too long" except Sergi Roberto who times his run to perfection to get his foot on it and it flies into the roof of the next. What an incredible finish to a match, the greatest comeback in CL history.
I think Aguerro winning the league for Man City was the single most incredible piece of drama to end a match simply because it won the league; Beckham's free kick to give England a 2-2 draw against Greece to clinch qualification was pretty dramatic along with United's two injury time goals to clinch the CL in 1999 and Liverpool pulling back the 3-0 half time deficit to beat Milan on pens but this I think just edges those simply because of the magnitude of the fight back.
Truly incredible stuff
