Next Season's Kits
It looks like next season's kits will be made by the Thai company, FBT Sports. Wonder what has happened/will happen to the partnership with Football Nation? AFAIK the guy who runs FN is a Livi fan, so I'm unsure how we can get a better deal than that. Will have to see these new kits in the flesh to form a full opinion, but the home is okay, the away looks rancid IMO.

Didn't like the away one when I first saw it but have grown to kind of like it. Home one looks brilliant.

Re: Next Season's Kits
I saw that two tone lighter stripe/hoop design on a few strips modelled on Soccer am yesterday too.
It is a bit more subtle looking on the black strip, but really noticeable on the yellow, like that deckchair strip a few years back it will have to grow on me.
Took me a while to come round to this home strip.

I really like the kits. Had a look at the rest of the gear online and it all looks really smart. Shame there's no prices as yet though

Re: Next Season's Kits
Couple of videos on Twitter of our kits being printed up and stocked in a warehouse in what appears to be Thailand.
After the opening of the Ghana LSC, we're officially an international club.

Ghanian wannabe footballer on Twitter messaged a supporter a few months back asking for a trial... The boy's obviously been keeping tabs on our results, and sent another picture of him and his friends celebrating with a cardboard sign saying "Livingston FC, League 1 Champions". It seems the club's sent over some old Joma gear from the season gone by, as well as a copy of the new away kit.
Link.

Is that the same guy holding the new kit further up the thread? That photo looks much more like Ghana than Thailand

It is indeed one of the boys from Ghana. If you check the Facebook or Twitter page for the club you'll see the new kits and promo material being printed in what I'm assuming is Thailand, where FBT Sports are based.

Re: Next Season's Kits
Charlie Telfer out of contract at Dundee United, we all know Hoppy loves a midfielder...
Zwick also out of contract but seem to remember him being a bombscare in goals so think I'd prefer Ridgers if there was truth in that story.
Coll Donaldson's contracts up too if we're still looking for a RB.
Bit interesting seeing names like Spittal and Telfer in their list of players on the way out and their fans being happy about it, two players who were being tipped to go on to better things IIRC.
Lot of contracts are up on 31st May so maybe get some news and stop me throwing random names about

Re: Next Season's Kits
I liked Telfer but do we really need another midfielder, think we're well covered there. Donaldson isn't a RB is he, was a CB at Livi, but looked a bit shaky when we had him as a youngster and doesn't seem to have improved any from what I've read on Utd forums.

Is there even a difference? I thought he played RB, pretty sure he actually is a CB though, the Livi way.

Agreed, he played like he thought he could "out skill" his opponent and regularly got caught in possession. He was a bit like John Stones in style but nowhere near as good... And I'm not a John Stones fan by any stretch of the imagination.
We played him at RB because, as seems to be our MO, we had no recognised right back (or at least we didn't have a fit RB).

Re: Next Season's Kits
Like the new home top, but that away top is horrendous - 3 different shades of yellow in the one design, jeez.
Player wise, I would've taken Telfer if we didn't have so many midfielders on our books.
Goalkeeper wise, I know Neil Alexander's name was thrown about a while back, he'd have to take a substancial paycut, but at 39, the stability of a 2 year f/t contract at his old club might be tempting. Otherwise, I'd be happy with Ridgers.

Re: Next Season's Kits
This hasn't been confirmed as our kit yet, not seen anything on our OS anyway, wonder when the kits usually go on sale. Not that i'll be buying one right enough, bit long in the tooth to be knocking about in a football kit. Just curious to see what we'll be going with and to see it modelled on a couple of our players.
Bit bored and starved for Livi related news too, will we do a guess which players will model the kits comp just to have something to do on here?
I'll go for Pitts and Dec as the little and large models.

Away one actually looks different than the one Owusu was holding up.

Can I have one of the ones they sent to Kenya, think it was nicer. Certainly more interesting.
Never the less, decent looking top.

Was that the one posed by Owusu Boakye Amando in Ghana?

Re: Next Season's Kits
The Yellow looks a bit insipid but it is the 2nd kit so not bothered that much.
I think it is beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are no longer amber & black. I wonder what our "official colours" are logged as at the SFA/SPFL

Re: Next Season's Kits
Should be able to pick out a pass to a fellow Livi player in the away strip anyway, it's bright enough. Quite like it though, both strips are good looking.
