Alan’s role is to act as a conduit between supporters and the Club, allowing them the opportunity to raise any issues they may have and to put their thoughts, views and ideas on any subject they wish.
The SLO also serves as a link between other stakeholders in the game such as Police, stewards and other agencies.
The role is backed by UEFA and is designed to ensure that the fans have a dedicated point of contact at Livingston FC and someone who will best represent their needs within the Club and ensure that the most common issues are raised at the highest level with the Tony Macaroni Arena.
The SLO is the Club’s Safety Officer who reports directly to the Board and is not affiliated to any single department other than being responsible for Health & Safety within the stadium and will represent fans impartially in putting their views forward.
Alan is based part time at the stadium and is accessible to supporters either by telephone on 01506 471000, by email at alan.scott@livingstonfc.co.uk or in person at the clubSupporters Liaison Officer Alan-Scott

Good idea, there used to be a woman that had a job like that years ago, helps get some kind of link between the board and the fans so us fans don't feel detached.

Yes; think that was Leigh Robertson who was very good until she made the mistake of noticing that Flynn's car would be parked outside Kyle's house overnight on several occasions. Strangely she was "released" shortly after that. Many of the problems with the fans and dropping of season ticket sales happened shortly after - not helped of course by a succession of bampot owners.

Charles Burnett was the commercial manager wasn't he. Amongst other things I believe he was responsible for marketing the club etc.

As if you didn't know; anyway pretty sure neither of the named individuals were at the club at the time of Flynn's rule

I think you mean Kaye Robertson; Leigh is still involved with youngsters at the club.

Kaye was very good at organising everything from season tickets to club shop and I was very surprised when she was "made redundant" - thought there must have been more to it.

Flynn of course denied any such liaison to which you are referring

Thought it was Leigh and Dee but you know who I mean anyway.

Not sure I have specifically referred to any liaison; just that his car was parked outside the said persons house repeatedly over-night. Actually one of my friends and ex-colleagues used to live in the same street and mentioned it to me independently. Wink
