Home game and a win heading our way, big JET slotting away another brace against the sheep, and Pitts bundling one over the line from a Devlin cross along the 6 yard box, for us to take this 3-1.

Then we can sit back and hope Hibs win the cup. bounce

Irrespective of the cup outcome, we're finishing 5th again. cheers

Your optimism knows no bounds. You might be right cos Aberdeen are blowing a very lukewarm wind at the moment, they were rank against United & only came to life against us when the equalised against the run of play.

That said if they score first they will win.

Our home form fills me with hope, just a pity it was away from home in the cup game, but we still came close to beating them.

We've generally been the better team against them at home, but still lost or drew, so we need to bury them this time and get a 2 goal gap. They have clinical players in front of goal though, so we can't afford slack defending. Come out and play the same way we did against Hibs at home, get a 2nd goal before HT, and get the job done 2nd half, easy peasy. drunken

The penultimate home game of the season.Dons fans not overly enthusiastic about this. For us,5th place is still up for grabs. Wether it will be enough for Europe remains to be seen. But while we've still got a slim chance the players will try their damdest im sure. Not sure how Davie will set us up here,he's been praising Aberdeen on the media for days.Hopefully he's lulling them into a false sense of security and has a plan to take the game to them.Regardless, might as well enjoy the final 3games before 2 months of sheer boredom. So com on Livi, cheer us up.

About time, JET has hit some good form but he's clearly better playing on the wing, so this could be really good having Poplatnik starting up front.

Both Forrest and Mullin on the bench, so no natural wingers starting, will be up to the FB to get crosses into the box. JET will cut inside, as will Sibbald, but with the FB's doing overlaps we should still have width.

Martindale having a real go at the officials at the end of the game and rightly so.Absolute shocker from them, but we're used to it down here.Imo really deserved a point from that and that's not sour grapes.Big opportunity lost there for me.Will need to see their first back and judge Stryjek, but their second was criminal after the afore mentioned officials feched it up again.Great goal from Jet to give us a glimmer of taking a point.Proplatnick puts that away end of the first half, different game.Frustrating that St Johnstone have caught us up,and some saying its still in our hands for 5th.Thanks Hibs.Dissapointed but on the plus side, heading for the fridge.🍻🤣.

5th is still in our hands as we have still to play Saints... but it’s a forlorn hope, I said we’d be 6th with less points than at least 1 team from the bottom half because we won’t get any points in the post-split games & I have seen nothing to change my mind.

I agree Troy, I thought we were doing okay in the first half but we were poor in the second with the only consolation being the goal of the game. Tremendous cross & even better volley.

Officials were useless but we have not done enough in the post split games.

I'm kinda resigned to finishing sixth Bertie.Sevco next and haven't even looked at who Saints have next.Momentum probably won't be with us heading to that final game in Perth.Leauge survival achieved long ago,but disappointing end to the season for us.Oh and cheerio Europe 🇪🇺 🏴????????????????????????👋.

Saints play at Celtic the same night we host the champs, so in all likelihood we will essentially have a play off with Saints for 5th at their place....not a happy hunting ground for us.

Yeah did well anticipating the ball played back to the keeper and cut it off, but really should've scored. Did the required running about and wins a lot of headers, in the whole he worked well with JET, needed to be more clinical, and not just him.

In contrast Aberdeen were very clinical with their chances, almost always getting them on target, forcing Stryjek into 2 great saves first half, another 2nd, but they got onto his save to stick it into the net. Poor defending again from us, that has been the story of our season, giving away cheap goals. But the main difference was how quick and direct the sheep were, and pretty clinical.

Actually thought we played well and had the better of them for most of the game, but we just weren't good enough in front of goals, or getting shots off around the box. Brilliant assist and goal by Kabia and JET, and almost a late equaliser, they really are experts at smash and grabs against us at the Spaghettihad.

As much as it pains me to admit it, St Johnstone have the bit between their teeth and are having a remarkable 2nd half to the season, just no stopping them as they march on to 5th place and another semi final. Hoping St Mirren beat them and we somehow get 5th place back. Would be just like us to beat the zombies at home, then feck it up in the last game against St Johnstone. lol!  Haven't given up hope we can still do it though, mon the Lions. cheers
