We've held them to a 0-0 draw, and almost got another, taking them to the 87th min before they scored to win 1-0, so not beyond us to get something here. Could even be the first team to beat them in the League this season if we take all 3 points, but we'd need to score first, we haven't managed a goal against them in 3 games this season. Time for JET to step up and do his thing, another volley in the corner would do nicely.
Would like to see Kabia starting too, he deserves his chance to start against them, has done well every game he's played, and is a right nuisance full of energy, that seems to wind up opponents, faf if he adds Morelos to the list of players he winds up, and gets him sent off.

Hopefully Celtic turn up and stick a few past St Johnstone too, who'll have played St Mirren on the Sun, also hope St Mirren gub them out the cup in and energy sapping 120 mins of a game, coming away deflated, bruised, and battered, before facing Celtic.
St Mirren being pipped to a top 6 spot on GD will certainly give them that extra bit of grievance to get stuck in about them for revenge in the cup.

Anyhoo enough about those aunts, lets do this Livi, and finish the season on a high. bounce cheers

You won’t be surprised to hear that I don’t think we will get anything from this game. They clearly want to complete the league season unbeaten & we disappear after the split.

Seeing Barisic is out for this game, will be a huge miss for them, been their best player this season, in a formidable defence.

Think we have to get at least a draw here, have no confidence of Celtic beating St Johnstone, and wouldn't surprise me if St Johnstone win that game, so a point would at least keep us in the running for 5th place, needing a win against St J in the final league game. Hopefully they'll have an eye on the cup final and will rest some of their bigger players too.

Not happy with our game being half an hour ahead of theirs either, allowing them to know what our final score will be, and could give them a lift if they need to push for a late goal.

Last home game of the season for us.Somehow im finding it difficult to be enthusiastic about this. Our season seems to be petering out for me.Would be pleasantly surprised to take anything from this but confidence is low in my household at the moment. Would be good if Saturdays game mattered. Guess we'll just have to hope that we've something to play for after tomorrow. Sevco don't like coming here so maybe the Lions can make it as uncomfortable for them as possible. I doubt it but in any case just have a go Livi.Good luck.🦁💪👍.

If Hamilton and Tiffoney are allowed to play now they're finished playing for their loan clubs, i'd like to see Tiffoney starting up front with JET on the wing. Think JET would be ideal for feeding him in on goal, and his confidence should be sky high after a successful loan spell scoring for fun with Partick, helping them win the league.

He'd be desperate to do well with his contract coming to an end, and his name would be all over the media if it was him that scored the goal to end Sevco's unbeaten League run.

Good first half from us, majority Sevco possession but we've been good where it mattered, but lost a late pen to go in 1-0 down. Still in it though, just need to make sure we don't lose a 2nd, and we could get a goal back.

Celtic 2-0 up so going well for us there.

Pitts hitting the bar and Kabia missing an open goal, can't expect anything against Sevco when we don't take our chances. Kabia had another chance just after that too. Sevco the more clinical team and stick 3 past us, Celtic 3-0 up against St Johnstone too, so all down to our game on Sat still, need a win to get 5th place.

New signing Diani looked good, and despite missing a sitter or two, Kabia is still looking a decent prospect, makes things happen at least, could be a big player for us next season.

Never a 3 0,but it was.Thought we were as good as we could have been.Hitting woodwork twice but Sevco were clinical with their finishing.Hopefully Saints are on a downer after the pumping there getting at Parkhead.Glad to get this one out of the way. Roll on Saturday.🦁.

They win the cup and 5th place doesn't matter, hopefully they'll put all their eggs in the one basket going for the cup, and end up losing to both us and Hibs.

Looking like St Johnstone will have a decimated team against us on Sat, after covid regs ruling half their players out. Much the same team that just got humped by Celtic tonight, and maybe one or two more will be out too.

Should've done what we started doing around about our cup final, and travelled by their own cars.

I think we have struggled against teams that have been COVID affected. We won’t win on Saturday.
Didn’t watch tonight, celebrated my oldest’s birthday instead.

Was a good performance Bertie, harsh going in 1-0 down to a pen just before HT, but Sevco's movement is just so quick and sharp, and they cut us open, forcing Stryjek into having to just throw himself along the ground to try and block a shot, and caught their player. At least Sevco's players take a hit to go down, unlike Boyle who always looks like he's diving before contact is made.

2nd half we actually looked better than them despite having a lot less possession, but again they were clinical with their chances and went 2-0 up with slick play, then Pitts hits the bar, and Kabia somehow hits the post from an open goal inside their box. Just can't pass up those kind of opportunities against Sevco and hope to take something.

Can't remember if it was their 2nd or 3rd goal now, but when the ball gets played wide nobody follows the runner for the return pass/cut back, and it was an easy tap in.

Positives were getting a good look at Diani, tall athletic player, good technical ability, and he was all over the pitch pressing too, looks a good player. Despite Jay missing a couple of chances, he's all over them making a nuisance of himself, and gets in the areas to get goals, another good looking player i'd like to see more of next season. Jack McMillan has to get more game time next season too, what a difference he makes to the team, always notice he's playing, as he is always involved.

Along with the new signing it's looking good for next season already.
