If you can't score in home games against relatively poor sides like Rangers, then you're certainly a candidate for relegation. The first round of games is almost over and we're sitting 8th, but could drop further.
Yet again, you accuse me of posting 'nonsense' but have nothing to back it up with.
Had left with about 15 mins to go to pick my daughter up at the airport but heard on the radio they cleared a header off the line, surely that looked like scoring.
I get what you're saying as I was surprised how ordinary they looked, really expected them to dominate us. Although Sevco looked nothing special for the money they've spent on players from a higher league, they're the 2nd best team in the Championship on merit. They've also got a big squad of equal quality players that will come into play around Jan when other teams will struggle with injuries, suspensions, and a bit of jadedness due to carrying a niggle or just dip in form.
Only Hearts have looked miles better than us and part of that was down to how utter shite we were due to being overawed or something, I don't think there are any team we can't hold our own against out of the other 8 teams, but unless we stick the fecking ball in the net we aint going to win and risk getting nothing like the Dumbarton and Raith games.
Our other strikers could do with chipping in with some goals to help White out, and midfield too. We've got midfielders capable of scoring, both Kyle and Keaghan can score from distance, they both good shots on them, just isn't happening though. That's our biggest problem, not being outplayed, but not taking our chances.
We even could've been 1 up against Sevco before they scored, who knows if going ahead would've rattled them as they actually didn't look like scoring until after their goal from nowhere. Their defence looked shaky and if they pushed forward trying to equalise it would've made it easier to get another and punish them like Hibs did. Like I said though we're suffering for no being more clinical in font of goal.
I still think now the really hard games are past and we're back to playing teams we've a good chance of taking points from we'll get better results in the 2nd quarter.
The players better give it their all against Hibs at home and stuff them, that would give us a massive lift going into 2 games against teams of a similar standard to ourselves before we get the 3 part time teams.
Oooft, got carried away there and wrote a novel, lol.
