Excuse the cheap header but there's a charity match this evening at the vale in aid of the MacMillan Cancer support. Both teams are made up of local lads but Marvin and Ricki have both kindly volunteered to be the team managers.
Entry is free from the EAST stand entrance; kick of is scheduled for 7:30. There will be home backing available (cheese scones; cakes; fruit loaf etc) and some refreshments. As well as a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.
At the end of the evening they'll be a penalty shootout (regardless of the result) with the losing captain going for a ice-bucket challenge.
Not sure if we'll ask Ricki for another repeat of "Island in the Sun" though.
