I see they've got a midweek game against County, that should tire them out a good bit before our game.

Looking forward to this game, it'll be a different Livi they face from the one they beat at Easter rd, bring it on.

2-0 Livi for this one, lets do this, mon the Lions. bounce cheers

Wednesdays game will have some bearing on Saturday but I don’t think it will tire them out.
Pros are like everyone else & prefer playing to training, a weeks training would tire them out more than the game. If they lose again, they could be more dangerous knowing they can’t afford to lose twice in 3 days. If they win their confidence jumps but that might make them complacent. If they draw they may be less anxious having stopped the rot.

That said, I think how we approach the game will be the major factor. I just hope we get right intae them & give a right good shoeing. But I think it has draw written all over it.

Everything you listed as a positive would be a negative if it was us playing on Wed Bertie. lol!

The physical exertions on playing are far harder than training, you go full pelt in a competitive game, that def takes it out of you with muscle strains, knocks etc. Just checking to see who their covid players are, and if they'd have been playing anyway, Doidge is injured though, and that's a key player for them, Magennis too.

Not seeing who the covid players are, guess we'll see on Wed, and if they'd have played anyway, i remember Celtic using that patter against us, having to play their B team, which was the exact same team bar one player that had played Sevco, before their wee jolly up abroad that saw them having to self isolate their coaching staff and some players.

That said, Livi are now playing much better and can take anyone on, and get 3 points, it's more about us than worrying about what their players can do, we've even got problems selecting players now, with competition for places. We're beating this mob no matter how many players they have fit. bounce

I'd have liked Obileye in the next two games. He's become quite solid and good in the air.
Mind you that whole incident was quite entertaining the way it enfolded - the push, the slap, the dying swan, the sending off, the penalty and the save. There is also miles of commentary all over social media on it. Fitba' eh!

A bit of will they, wont they going on just now, with Hibs not wanting to play County, and complaining to anyone that will listen how unfair it is asking them to. Cancelling their pre match press conference today, citing the game may not go ahead. They're meant to be having to get U18 players called up as 5 players have covid now, and 5 are injured. I'm willing to bet they'll have a full strength starting XI and some U18's on the bench that wont be used. Same as our injured players on the bench were just fillers for a lot of our games.

Doubt County are falling for this poor us act either, Hibs wont field a weakened team.

You’re right, they won’t field a team at all as the “poor us” act has won out.

It’s a joke & makes a farce of Scottish football, if they can’t fulfil the fixture forfeit the points!

The SPFL may just have made a rod for their own backs with this decision. Nothing to stop teams now with a few key players injured maintaining that others are also sick or injured and getting games postponed while the injuries clear.
We hadn't enough players to fill the bench earlier in the season. I'm sure Hibs have young players available for selection.

Find it hard to believe that Hibs, with all their resources, don't have a deep enough squad to deal with 10 +/- players being out. Will be interesting to observe the consistency of the decisions to call games off due to Covid in the furure.

Guess today has its good and bad points. The good being it gives the injuries etc to hopefully clear up.The bad,I feel we would have got Hibs at a good chance for us to take something from this.Frustrating, but we've just got to get on with it.Right wheres the fridge.🍻🍻🍻👍.

Yeah no slip ups from the erse cheeks would be good, never know with them after playing a midweek game in Europe, so fingers crossed they both win. Yuck feel dirty saying that, but have to put Livi first and don't want County and Dundee getting points.

Arbroath battered Accies, but typical game through there, in shite conditions, and they grabbed a point with a dodgy penalty.

After Hibs gub Sevco in the semi of the cup they get pumped 1-0 by County and have Boyle and Doidge red carded. However those 2 will have served their bans before we get them.

That's 5 league defeats on the bounce for Hibs now, but we don't play them for another 4 games yet, anyone else getting the feeling their bad league form will turn by the time we get them?

Not the best of days for us.What a result for Dundee.Didnt see that one tbh.And County with a late equaliser against the Arabs. Its so tight in the bottom 6 with only 3 points within reach of the top six by my drunken calculations.Indeed a win tomorrow would put us midtable.Unthinkable yes,but you never know.Bring it on.👊🦁🤞.
