Yeah as an alternative kit it’s pretty smart, as was last season’s.
Hopefully the new main kit will be predominantly amber… same as this replacing the white with amber would look pretty good

That's the home one up now, just not a fan of collars, and that one really draws your eyes to it.
Otherwise it's ok, just want to take a pair of scissors to that collar.

The collar isn’t great but it might fold in under the neckline; IMO that is possibly the best home shirt since the first ever SPL season, I’d prefer no white at all but it’s a cracker nonetheless. The amber is the best shade of that we’ve had for donkeys.

The deck chair (a title I gave it on first look back in the day on the old livlions forum when it was still decent) was wrong on so many levels, too yellow, too much white, not enough black… at lest this one is only pin stripes and a bit of collar. Of course the second SPL season white home shirt has to go down as the worst IMO.

Have to disagree with you. One of the worst strips I have ever seen……..and it’s definitely yellow not even close to amber.
I’m waiting for the pelters!!
PS
Have you noticed the sleeve sponsor?
A Mrs Martindale company.

You'll not get any pelters on here, everyone is entitled to their opinion, whether it is agreed on or not. Not really struck on it either, and the collar is off putting, i just don't like collars on football shirts, or T shirts, don't like polo shirts either. Could live with it if the neckline was finished off with a black V or O shape though, but i don't buy football shirts anyway so makes no difference what i think.

My preference is always predominately black for the home strip. That top is ok as amber/yellow goes but I really dislike yellow shorts. Black shorts would have looked so much better. I don't think we've ever had a decent season playing in yellow shorts.

Couldn't help checking up to see if that's true.
First three seasons in the Premiership was yellow shorts, 9th 5th and 6th places.
In fact the season we won the Premiership play offs we had a yellow hooped shirt and yellow shorts for our away strip, full Black (also faint hoops in the shirt) home one.
Maybe we should have yellow shorts every season.

I dinnae care I dinnae like yellow shorts. We would probably have been further up the league if it had been black shorts.
If it has to be a yellow top then at least give us black shorts.

Re: Strips for 2022/23
Obviously not seen it physically but in the photo of Shinnie & in the video, I’d say it is getting close to the amber of the original SPL shirt; the photo of the shirt on its own looks more yellow than it does on Shinnie but still more amber than many a shirt since 2006
Having now acquired one… most definitely NOT yellow.
