Best Ever Livi Goal Empty Best Ever Livi Goal

I see on the OS twitter they've put up Jimmy Scott's goal against Alloa and are asking what people think was our best ever goal. Tough to choose just one so what goal(s) has/have been the best that you've seen?

Paul Deas always sticks in my mind for the power and distance it was hit, but Stuart Lovell's overhead kick against Rangers was a thing of joy too, esp against them when we won after being 1-0 down.

Another that had me jumping about was Sparky 1 against the 6 fingered mob away when he did a double turn and drag back before sticking it past their keeper to win the game.

Griffiths goal that day was sublime. He also scored a cracker at home against Dunfermline in a 4-2 win; we broke up the field and Jacobs played a cracking first time crossfield pass with his left peg, that Griffiths rifled away. Cue bedlam.

Liam Fox scored a beauty away to Ayr a few years ago, first time left foot volley into the top corner.

The goal that Hippolyte scored against Hearts in the Petrofac was outstanding too - really good finish, that was preceded by a dozen passes or more.

Never really been a big fan of massive strikes from the halfway line or whatnot. Just seems a bit hit and hope with a bit of luck. Fair enough, if it's taken at a certain angle, or if the balls dropped from a certain height, but I didn't really enjoy watching Scott's goal that much. Hipps' goal against Hearts is a good shout for a nice goal, as it was well worked by the midfield, which led him to take a few nice touches and hit a really smooth shot into the corner.

Personal favourite would be Lovell V the buns, his technique was world class - and involved a serious amount of skill. Closely followed by El Dios V Ross County in 2010, where he shifted past about 3 defenders in a crowded box and tucked it into the corner. Really enjoyed both goals - and was right behind both when they went in!
