    Only 121 days to go...

Where would you like this to be held at or think it'll end up being held at? East End Park for me to answer both questions.

Any chance of this being a sticky, EL?

I thought about Falkirk too but EEP has a larger capacity and I think both sides could bring 5,000 fans each. Also, I don't think the SPFL would want a cup final to be played on their astroturf surface.

Tad optimistic with the att, can't see us having more than 2,000, dunno what Alloa would bring.

Falkirk is central for both teams but the plastic pitch might be a problem. Think it's allowed in the Premiership now though so who knows.

Airdrie is one that seems to be forgotten, about the same distance for both fans and has been held there before so not much reason for them to discard it.

Think it'll be at Falkirk though. Don't really mind where it is, just hoping it's reasonably priced.

Airdrie has a plastic pitch too, so would prefer Falkirk out of those two. Hope to feck it isn't Easter rd.

I can't see us having more than 1000. The marketing from the club is non-existent and the public are apathetic enough as it is. Alloa will have more supporters than us.

If we do get more than 1,000 it'll be only just. Not helped by the fact that, as mentioned, the club's marketing is terrible meaning most people in Livingston won't even know there's a cup final on.

It's a big event for Alloa, if we took it seriously in Livingston we'd have 2,000 easy. We've over 1,000 at home games, if everyone brought a friend/family member then it would be over 2,000. Lexi is prob right though, we'll not bother marketing it and hyping it up to get an interest going.

I didn't go to our last lower league cup final against Airdrie so looking forward to going to this one. Tbh I was that used to us winning leagues I didn't bother about it and was more interested in playing in the SPL and the bigger cups, that's all changed now though with the admins and decline of Livi fc over the years.

I went to the junior Scottish cup semi final at Airdrie's ground to see Whitburn play and there was 5,000 Whitburn fans there, pretty shite when Junior teams can take more than us nowadays.

The club won't market it at all and we'll struggle to get 1,000. Genuine chance for the club to market us in the area again but everyone on here knows they won't take it.

80 days to go and we might finally have some developments regarding the venue for the final: McDiarmid Park is set to be confirmed as the host, according the Scotsman.

Ridiculous choice of venue if true. Too big, and further away than it needs to be.

Stirling; Clyde or Falkirk might have made more sense... or even Dunfermline (spit)

Spot on with your points. St Mirren and Stirling's ground were considered options but they're both playing at home the day before. Location wise, it would've made sense to have it at Falkirk.

Fair enough for teams like Dundee, Utd, Ross County etc who come from the other side of the bridge as you're looking for a central venue for both teams. Alloa and Livi going up there makes no sense though.

I agree that it isn't logical to have a final between Alloa and Livingston in Perth but I don't know how the process works for choosing a stadium, whether it's down to the cost of hiring the stadium, security and the other logistics behind it.

I'd go for the more likely option of who's palms have been greased. Saying that we've hosted a couple of finals so suppose we can't go all conspiracy theory. Laughing

Hideous choice. Fair weather fans of either side aren't going to make the effort. Horrendous turnout, probably an awful game and its 50 miles away. Who runs the show in this country? Fucking idiots.

I hope you've got the scoreline wrong Lexi, but I don't think you're far off with the crowd. It'll definitely be the lowest attended final there.
