Referees Being Slagged

They're getting it in the neck from managers this weekend, Collum by Neilson and Dallas by Hughes. Madden and his 4th official Crawford Allan managing to screw QoS too, Allan came over to tell Madden Lyle should be red carded when a yellow to both players would've been enough.

All of the above officials are well known to be terrible refs, Neilson thinks Collum has it in for Hearts but he's shocking for every team, very card happy and usually gets it wrong. Michael Stewart even said so on Sportscene, he said ask a fan of any team and they'll tell you a Willie Collum story. We've already had Dallas for a game and he's been murder, Falkirk fans said the same so isn't just tinted specs from us.  

We got Crawford Allan in the first Clyde game and he was letting Clyde players kick lumps out of our players then book 2 Livi players for very little.

You actually dread some games when you see who the ref will be.

The refs are just like everything else associated with Scottish football. Shite.

Difficult to tell from the BBC footage but Paterson's challenge looked a bit out of control and possibly worthy of a red. MacKinnon is a dirty bastard as well so chances are if he was raging that it might have been a dodgy tackle. Will always have time for Collum after the soft penalty we got on the final day of last season.

Personally thought our referee McKendrick yesterday had a decent game, there wasn't a lot I disagreed with as the game went on.

Dallas is shite.

Matt Northcroft or whatever his name is. We need to watch him as he enrages me every time he takes one of our games, an absolute toilet of a referee.

Yeah that's twice we've had McKendrick and he's been pretty good, produced some yellow cards to the Clyde players early on and got their thug no6 to calm down. Don't think he's card happy either, just gets it right to control the game.

Collum is still just a card happy little prick that likes to be the centre of attention in games.

Yep he's another one, he was the ref in the Raith game.

I'll be watching out for George Salmond now too, how the feck he didn't send Kidd off for that tackle on Hippo is bewildering, cost us the game as Kidd scored.

Willie Collum's wife was a maths teacher at my old school, remember her having a near breakdown when a mate of mine told her that her husband was hopeless at his job.

Heard on off the ball on Saturday he's an RE teacher, would have been fun in his class if he'd officiated a game your team played in.

Apparently he's red carded 9 Hearts players in something like 37 games....does seem excessive but then players get sent off for things these days that weren't even fouls when I was a lad!

That's 28 games he didn't red card a Hearts player then, pretty poor if he has it in for them.

Would like to see the stats for other teams he's officiated over 37 games, he dishes out a hell of a lot of cards.

This was his card count last season leading up to our game with QoS.

31 games
101 yellow cards
12 red cards

Wonder how many of those reds were against Hearts players.

Apparently in his last 6 Hearts games he has sent off 4 Hearts players

Hearts and QoS put in appeals to their red cards, Hearts Callum Paterson's red card was rescinded and Queens wont have their appeal heard till next week.

So yet another Collum red card has been rescinded, he had 2 that I know of rescinded last season, how does this clown still get games in the Premiership, or even the Championship. He's clearly not very good at his job, when red cards are rescinded that shows he got it wrong. Also most likely cost Hearts the 3 pts against Hamilton.

For Regan to stick up for these guys just shows that we have idiots in charge of the game in this country.
