I will try and update during season, thanks Lexi for saying you look forward to them , I appreciate that.

I just like stats and it can help see how players are performing and who maybe should start etc.

The one below is for GOALS and only the six recognised forwards in all competitive games this season. It  has to be noted that Gallagher has scored two goals and Pittman has scored too.

    1: WHITE  6 goals 10 starts 60% chance of scoring / 1 goal every 177 mins ( played 1067)

    2: MULLEN 3 goals 7 starts 43% chance of scoring / 1 goal every 221 mins ( played 664)

    3: BUCHANAN 6 goals 15 starts 38% chance of scoring / 1 goal every 227 mins ( played 1363)

    4 : SHEERIN 2 goals  6 starts 33% chance of scoring / 1 goal every 302 mins ( played 605)

    5: HIPPOLYTE 1 goal 12 starts 8% chance of scoring / 1 goal every 1100 mins ( played 1100)

    6: GLEN 1 goal 11 starts 8% chance of scoring / 1 goal every 1199 mins ( played 1199)

I will do an assist one in the future but will need to go back through the videos maybe at the weekend as no game on. This is very important stat too and I do recognise that off the top of my head Glen has contributed well in this area. Will include all players in the assists ones.

Nice one Smithy. Proof if needed that White is definitely our 1st choice striker.

Got a feeling the big man will score from a header tomorrow. Here's hoping anyway, I reckon White would love a crack at Rangers.

I think while interesting you can actually eliminate Hippo & Glen from this...they aren't playing in the striker role that the others are so its not "apples with apples". Mullen also has probably been more of an attacking mid than an out & out striker, which makes his strike rate all the more laudable...but he falls over too much & gives up too easily.

Looking forward to the update after the game today. Another 2 goals for the big man, lets hope we see him getting in on the goals next Saturday V Falkirk.

Big Shags is on fire this season. I know Smithy always rated him and sang his praises but I think he is on a different level this season, was good last season but for me he is a much improved player.

Updated after Alloa and Dumbarton games and just before Hopkins first game as caretaker manager

    1: WHITE 8 goals / 15 starts 53% chance of scoring ....1 goal every 188 mins ( played 1506 )

    2: MULLEN 3 goals / 7 starts 43% chance of scoring ....1 goal every 226 mins ( played 680 )

    3: SHEERIN 3 goals / 8 starts 38% chance of scoring.....1 goal every 260 mins ( played 782 )

    4: BUCHANAN 6 goals / 18 starts 33% chance of scoring..1 goal every 261 mins ( played 1569 )

    5: HIPPOLYTE 2 goals / 14 starts 14% chance of scoring....1 goal every 654 mins ( played 1308 )

    6: GLEN 2 goals / 15 starts 13% chance of scoring .......1 goal every 740 mins ( played 1480 )

So I suppose when you look at the stats I can see why maybe Burchy threw on Danny as he is more likely to have a chance of scoring than Buchanan and Sheerin, so maybe Hopkins will go with White and Mullen as a front two on Saturday, we will find out soon.

Buchanan set up goals for Sheerin and White against Hibs and Peterheid, it wasn't just about goals though it was getting someone on the pitch that would've taken pressure off our defence and could get on the ball to keep it in Dumbarton's half. Mullen aint that player, too easily knocked off the ball, plus he'd been out injured for months, so nope, can't see why Burchill brought on Mullen instead of Buchanan.

If Hopkin goes with White and Mullen up front against St Mirren then I'm not going to bother with the Falkirk game. I'll wait until a new manager has come in before I go to another Livi game, not wasting my money if a Burchill clone is in charge doing the same mistakes all over again..

I agree with you LF as Mullen hadn't played in 13 games , can obviously see where Sheerin and White is the preferred choice with Mullen getting build up game time to get him match fitness.
Think Burchills downfall was only using Mullen when he should have used all three subs and Danny should have been the last one used as his match fitness is very low.

I was only pointing out that Mullens ratio is very good and may have been in the managers rationale, but his injury has put paid to match fitness.

    FWIW

My starting eleven for Saturday would be 442

    Jamieson

    Millen
    Gallagher
    Gordon
    Longridge

    Glen
    Faria
    Gibbons
    Hippolyte

    White
    Sheerin

That leaves a good bench with good cover in defence with Morgan Neil, midfield with Scott Pitman and some impact in attack with Buchanan and Mullen.

Smithy, I'm not so sure Burchill had any inkling that Mullen's GPG ratio is second only to White. He was quoted afterwards as acknowledging he was back 2 weeks too early but didn't get quoted as to why he did it. (Courier)

You'd bring Jamieson back? You thinking we're going to give away penalties because I can't think of any other reason to bring him back. Unless you blame McCallum for the goal, which I don't. I see you have also dropped last week's goalscorer.
