Bollan was punted from Airdrie and got the Forfar job.

Went to an Airdrie v Dunfermline game and sat in with the Airdrie fans, they weren't happy with Bollan at all. Was quite similar to us really when White was played up front as a lone striker and got the ball hit over his head all game. Was quite surprised at Bollan's tactics as he was completely different at Livi, he'd always start with 2 strikers and throw on a 3rd if we were behind, at Airdrie he just used 1 up front all season and the fans were frustrated by it.

Smithy, Last time we played Peterhead (3-1 win in a cup this season I believe), Peterhead were mid table now they are clear in second, their form has improved and stayed good. We on the other hand have not gotten much better if we have improved at all and if you think we have been playing decent recently then you are not watching the same team as me. 11 points from 18 was a good run but 1 from 9 is appalling

Edit to update that QoS have equalised.

Had a wee swatch at their results to check them out as possible play off final opponents, their form aint that good just now, before the 4-0 Sevco defeat the lost 2-0 to Forfar and 1-0 to Cowdenbeath, two teams down the bottom end of League One. Sandwiched by a 0-0 draw with Stranraer and a 1-1 draw with Albion Rovers is a 4-1 win over Stenny, so only 1 win since March for them.

Over two games we really should come out on top with Peterhead or Ayr, def nothing to fear from them anyway, so IF we go 2 up front and play to win games we'll stay up.

Jim McInally is the ultimate bottle merchant manager, the original Alan Stubbs. With East Stirling and Peterhead, he's failed to get either through the play-offs when they had the chance when both had/have the resources on tap, so I think Ayr will beat them over two legs.

Coincidentally, he lost to Peterhead in the promotion play-offs when he was Morton manager. Face it, he'll shite it and so will his team.

I take it these games wont be included in the ST.

Would be something else if we win our last 3 games and manage to avoid them, would be an even bigger great escape than last season. Sorry can't help it, ever the optimist. Laughing

I wont completely give up till I see where we are after the QoS game.

With our slide into the playoffs inevitable soon can i make a suggestion to both the club and the team.To the club,for gods sake keep the prices down to allow us to entice as many people as possible to come and support us in our hour of need thus helping us to negotiate our way through what will undoubtably be some very tricky ties.To the team i would say over the next 3 games please no silly yellow or red cards resulting in suspensions which could really harm us.Also if the good lord is looking down on us no serious injurys to any of our guys.Iasked for a wee miracle last season i can only pray that devine intervention shines on us just once more.Guys on other forums keep telling us that w,ell scoosh our way through the playoffs,im not so sure.Remember the old addage no team is too good to go down.We will see,over to you Livi.

Livi should negotiate the first tie ok vs Stranraer or Albion.The final vs Ayr or Blue Toon will be a tougher ask,oor record at Somerset is dire!! But with the players we have we should be taking care of any of the above mentioned teams!!

Think Raith have still something to play for, with Hibs in free fall they could get above them, not that it really matters as 3rd play 4th, but just for one upmanship over the supposed big team going into the play offs it would be good for morale.

Dumbarton are more likely to win at home though and their next 2 games are at home, this one and St Mirren, that's in their favour too.

I'm quietly praying that the footballing gods give us one more twist to the season and set us up for a last game of the season thriller with both us and Dumbarton still playing for 8th place.

Dumbarton up 1-0 and looking likely to score another.

Ref got that one right, Anderson doing a swan dive trying to con the ref into giving them a pen. Raith haven't had a sniff at goal yet, only been watching the last 10 mins of the game though, but unless they were better than this earlier Raith don't look like even having a shot on goal. Dear knows how they're sitting comfortable in 4th place, just shows how bad the rest of us are.

Turned over at HT to watch the end of Goldfinger and turned back to see it was 1-1, looking much better from Raith in the 2nd half, they've had more attacking play in the couple of minutes I've seen than the 20 odd I watched in the 1st half.

What a goal by Raith, 2-1 Raith. That's the kind that gets scored against us.

Nade pulling up with a hammy, hope it keeps him out for the next few games. Very Happy

He's a big lump but he's their target man for punts up the pitch and I think they'd struggle without him.

Game has changed completely now, Raith in control and Dumbarton already looking toothless up front without Nade.

And just as I posted that Raith go 3-1 up, game over. Now if only we can win our next 2 games.

Was worried about the St Mirren game next week as it was a home game but if Nade is out i'm pretty confident St Mirren will win it, and St Mirren are on a good run of form too. Their away game at Easter rd though, just don't know how that one will go, Hibs are a mess but they might just scrape it. Not quite a done deal against Alloa, they've put in some decent results since we relegated them, they might just do us a favour and put up a fight.

As it stands we could still end up with Stranraer, Airdrie or Albion depending on how today's and next week's results go.

Reckon Stranraer will do enough to get through though and it will be them beating us in the play offs.
