    Memories..........................................

Dunno if I was privileged or not to have witnessed our glory years, just depressing thinking back on them and seeing where we are now, esp when you see old match footage of the crowds in those days and look how sparse our support is in our big empty stadium now.

Anyhoo, just thought i'd share this link so i'd depress the rest of you too. lol!

The promotion winning season was my first thanks to freebies.... Hardly missed a game. Bought season tickets for the first time that first season in the premier. It was fantastic, moral champions given that no one had split the old firm for years, so 3rd was the highest realistic finish, we knew the only way was down but we had hopes of cup runs.

The league was always a struggle after that but we had the League Cup success and Scottish Cup semi-final. Both in the same season if I remember correctly.

Loved it. And despite the disappearance of fans who appeared to be stalwarts and the sometimes ridiculously rank performances, I'm still loving it.

I've been a fan since day one. Still at least we can say we're not glory hunters. Cool
Thoroughly enjoyed our climb up the leagues.

Yep im the same as you Orco. Was even at Meadowbank for a wee while to.Ah!the memories.Ifeel its does the heart to be a wee bit nostalgic now and again if only to remind us of the amazing journey weve been on and still are.Agree with you Bertie about some of the so called stalwarts who have deserted us,fortunatly i count myself as one who is and always will be there as long as we have a club to support.Remember they sang Livi till i die.Aye right!

Won the 3rd div twice, 2nd div twice (soon to be 3 times.....I hope), 1st div once, League cup once, Challenge cup once, and came 3rd in the SPL to qualify for European football. plus a couple of semi finals at Hampden and a Challenge cup final defeat. Chuck in 2 admins, 2 relegations, being chucked from the 1st div down to the 3rd div, court appearances, fines, points deductions, It has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride following Livi through the years.

Attended a few Meadowbank games myself, still have a scarf from back then.

Intended to come along to the Vale long before I actually did. Enjoyed most of what has transpired since.
