10 games left and 14 points ahead of Dunfermline (who have a game in hand), and 8 points behind St Mirren... we can't, can we?

    10/03 - Inverness (H)
    13/03 - Morton (H)
    17/03 - Falkirk (H)
    24/03 - QoS (A)
    31/03 - Dumbarton (A)
    03/04 - Dunfermline (A)
    07/04 - Morton (H)
    14/04 - St Mirren (A)
    21/04 - Brechin (H)
    28/04 - Dundee Utd (A)

That game against St Mirren, depending on results before it, could be absolutely massive. Fully expect us to win that to go top and lose to Brechin the next week.

Good to be in this position considering where we all expected to be, just happy we're not going down and can enjoy the rest of the season regardless of our results, if we manage to sneak into the play off final (or even win the league) then even better.

Looking good for a top 4 place anyway, it's about 60K extra for every position you go after 4th place too, so the higher we finish will make a hell of a difference financially, as well as giving us a better chance in the play offs if we can finish 2nd, having 2 less games could be the difference fatigue wise in making and even winning the play off final.

I'm now also hoping we can keep our winning run going and see if St Mirren drops some more points, our next 3 games are at home so it is going to be big games for us that will tell us a bit more on where we're likely to finish.

Cant find the current figures anywhere but the Ladbrokes sponsorship for 2015/16 (and as far as I know they haven't change the agreement but there might be something for the new Sky TV deal although the majority of this obviously goes to the Premiership) was split as follows:

    The SPFL prize money for 2015/16: Premiership: Winners £2.68m; 2nd £1.92m; 3rd £1.65m; 4th £1.45m; 5th £1.35m 6th £1.25m; 7th £1.15m; 8th £1.1m; 9th £1.05m; 10th £1m; 11th £950,000; 12th £900,000.
    Championship: Winners £450,000; 2 £380,000; 3 £320,000; 4 £260,000; 5 £200,000; 6 £180,000; 7 £170,000; 8 £160,000; 9 £150,000; 10 £140,000.
    League One: Winners £100,000; 2 £86,000; 3 £70,000; 4 £68,000; 5 £66,000; 6 £64,000; 7 £62,000; 8 £60,000; 9 £58,000; 10 £56,000.
    League Two: Winners £54,000; 2 £52,000; 3 £50,000; 4 £48,000; 5 £46,000; 6 £44,000; 7 £42,000; 8 £40,000; 9 £36,000; 10 £36,000.

    QoS v St Mirren
    St Mirren v Falkirk
    St Mirren v Dumbarton
    ICT v St Mirren
    Brechin v St Mirren
    Dundee Utd v St Mirren
    St Mirren v Livi
    St Mirren v Morton
    Falkirk v St Mirren

Looking at St Mirren's remaining fixtures, there are still a few interesting games where they may drop some points, the ones in bold are possible stumbling blocks for them. Grasping at straws but I haven't given up hope yet, our game against them is prob must win if we're going to have any hope though.

To be honest I'm not sure I'd classify Home to Falkirk or Morton as possible stumbling blocks particularly with the potential firing line-up at their disposal.

P&B bravado aside Falkirk were delighted with their draw against us yesterday. ICT are a far better side and they're in eighth but with two games in hand. The fact that so many of them think that Sibbald is a good play is an example of the level to which they have sunk.

Falkirk cuffed both Morton and ICT after Hartley brought in his new players, and one of the in form teams just now, I wouldn't rule them out taking points from St Mirren, too much to hope for now though, they'd need to lose about 5 games and we'd need to win ever game left.

I'm more looking for Falkirk to take points from Utd now, which I think is likely.

I think Inverness are Dumbarton's only chance of staying out of the play offs, they look like being 8th or 9th the way they're going.
