Re: The Myles Hippolyte thread
I think the fact that he's a cult hero will help him along - he's already being given a bit of leeway by the fans in that when he tries a flick and it doesn't come off, he's applauded and we wait for him to try again. The same respect (for want of a better word) isn't being afforded to the likes of Danny Mullen, although that's maybe another thread.
Another thing - I met Hippolyte very briefly the other week when my lad was the mascot against Cowdenbeath and a quieter, more humble guy you couldn't wish to meet - very different to the portrait that was painted in some quarters during pre-season.
Yep, it's fair to say I'm a fan of the Hippo love.

Re: The Myles Hippolyte thread
I also found out on Sunday that he lives in my street! Literally a 2 minute walk down the road, might go in for him with a bottle of fortified wine and a fly away football and just go down the park, have a kick about then get absolute melted in the goals.
Scenes.

I'll bring the Lambrini for a repeat of the Decebomb incident.

Re: The Myles Hippolyte thread
I think he's improving and may get more game time now. Looked far more controlled in his play yesterday, wasn't haring about like a manic tazmanian devil.
He oozes class, even his passes look classy, hits it with spin when he passes the ball.
Hopefully he keeps improving and McGlynn deems him good enough to start games as his directness gives us another dimension to how we play. It quickens the pace in the final third and allows White to poach in the box.

Had a nice little chat with Hips on Lloyds last night. He has a good left foot.
