Opening league Game 2022/23

Home game against Sevco then, an aunt that it's a 12 o clock ko but at least it's on a Saturday. Financially a great opener for the club, and one our players should be right up for. Lets start the league campaign with a win over Sevco.

Utd away is decent for our 2nd game, they'll have their European campaign distracting them, and Hibs at home for our 3rd is another good home game for the coffers, can't wait for the new season to get started now.

I’d happily take a point, we don’t seem to do well against them in terms of results. Even when we play well they end up with a comfortable score line if not a comfortable game.

Last game they scraped a 1-0 at Ibrox, but prev games last season were comfortable wins yep. Season before we gave them a couple of close runs with another 1-0 defeat in the 87th min and a 0-0, we're def capable of getting something here at home.

We've not won an opening league game in the Premiership yet, 1 draw Motherwell away and 3 defeats, 2 of which were away to Celtic and Sevco, the 3rd away to St Mirren. This is our first home game, and it's against Sevco, they don't exactly make the fixtures kind to us.

Had a couple of draws against them, and the 87th min 1-0 loss was a sore one to take after almost holding out. Beat them 1-0 too but Davie was only the assistant then, so maybe that doesn't count.

FESTIVE PERIOD

Worked out quite well for us for a change, Home game the 17th Dec, Away at Easter Rd on the 24th, and Home again on the 28th.

The New Year fixture is decent too, another Home game on the 2nd Jan. All in all very little travelling for us, as opposed to Sevco going up to County on the 24th, and Aberdeen travelling to Paisley, for once the fixture gods have been very kind to us.
