Really hope I'm not putting the jankers on this. But looking at the forecast for the rest of the week, sub zero temperatures and snow expected on Friday doesn't bode well for the game to get the go ahead. More so the areas surrounding the stadium could be hazardous for many of our fans.Of course the decision could be taken out of our hands by the Police. In the event that the game goes ahead. We should be just about at full strength with the odd exception. Seems so long since we last saw the Titanic cup winners . We're at home and I'm hopefull we carry on from where we left off.Anyways fingers crossed the game is on and 3 points as a welcome Xmas present. Mon the Lions.👊🦁👍.

I remember going to Alloa for the only game that was on in the 4 Scottish Leagues, the snow was piled up around their pitch and they had portaloos with the water all frozen, so you had to wash your hands outside in the snow. lol!

We've done quite well getting the pitch clear of snow in recent seasons, have machinery doing the majority of the work now, but yeah, the temperature has been an issue a couple of times, with the ref calling the game off after doing a ball bouncing test on one part of the pitch. We've always had a problem with the sun not getting onto certain places because of the stands.

According to Alexa Fri night is a high of 5 degrees Celsius, and Sat a daytime temp of 4 degrees. The down side of that is the rise in temp is also forecasting light rain and snow.

Just hope the players have somewhere suitable to train. Hopefully the club would have made arrangements to keep them fit for purpose should the game go ahead.Fingers crossed.🤞🥶.

Fox has had time to work on improving Utd during this wc break, which is a bit of a bummer for us, but we've also had time to get Bruce up to match fitness and the Titanic cup gave us good competitive games to keep everything ticking over nicely so we didn't drop off from our pre wc break form. Looking like Shamal will still be out recovering from his thigh injury, Ivan did a good job against Hearts though, so hopefully he'll be the one in goals for this game.

Felt we were too negative against Utd in our cup defeat, and even in our away win against them, but think we'll be far more attacking now, so can see us sticking 2 or 3 goals past them on Saturday, footballing gods willing that the game will be on.

With Aberdeen playing Celtic, a win here will prob move us up to 3rd place, just like our best ever season in the top flight, us and Aberdeen jostling for 3rd place. bounce

Don’t know why we were supposed to be resuming before the WC ended… we’ve had weeks that we could have played no problem but no, let’s have a break while the World Cup is on… well, most of it and we’ll resume deeper into winter. Typical of Scottish football legislators. I know they can’t predict the weather but we all know that December is usually colder than November.

Quite treacherous with the snow melting and the hard packed ice underneath now exposed, a lot of water too, ah well the Morocco v Croatia game it is then.
