It's a one horse race instead of a 2 horse one, only ones missing Sevco are Celtic. All their sectarian bile has been somewhat diluted without the other arse cheek around in the Premiership. The longer they are down here the weaker both of them are getting which is good for everyone else. Best thing to happen to Scottish football was Rangers going into liquidation.

The power shifted away from the OF with the one sided voting system too which was good.

Disagree mate, sorry. Aren't they essentially running a skeleton staff structure to save costs at the moment? Fact is, it's not as if the sort of jobs that 95% of Rangers' employees aren't available elsewhere, in other, less questionable, places. They are a total stain on Scottish society as a self-proclaimed "institution" and readily promote a vulgar attitude in various aspects of life. Their fans are also total mouth-breathers to a man, as demonstrated by some of the reaction on social media to Gibbons' tackle a few weeks ago.

The sooner they and the other cheek of the bigoted arse get to fuck, the better.

Will Rangers win the Championship? - Page 2 Empty Rangers Tax Cheats

Not will they win the league but is about them and may have implications on newco penalties from the SPFL (wont hold my breath waiting though).

Shocking segment on Sportscene asking Stevie Thompson & Stuart McCall about whether their titles should be stripped from them, no prizes for guessing who they sided with but the Sportscene sevco apologists then just moved on without any counter argument, disgraceful bias from them.

Good blog from Alex Thompson though: http://blogs.channel4.com/alex-thomsons-view/rangers-cheated-football-fraudulent-silverware/10066

Should Livi be stripped of the League Cup for paying wages they couldn't afford in order to have a better squad of players available to pick from?

Nope. I don't think Rangers should be stripped of their titles either.

Did we deliberately cheat to gain a sporting advantage? I don't think it is the same things Bertie, at the time of our admin every club had an overdraft, Rangers were actually  deliberately avoiding paying tax and NI to gain a sporting advantage.

Where do you draw the line at what is sporting advantage & what isn't?

If you read some of the responses to the article you "linked" there are suggestions there that the EBTs were a valid scheme. I don't know enough about them to say one way or the other. All the EBT scheme achieved was arguably getting better players to sign than they would have done without the EBTs but that is only conjecture because the players may well have signed anyway, Rangers were on a run of success anyway & drawing a higher standard of player because of that success & the promise of CL football.

I agree that every club had an overdraft but some had bigger overdrafts than others; that gave them a sporting advantage because with a larger overdraft they could sign better players than they could actually afford; even if all clubs had overdrafts the size of overdraft determined the quality of signing.

Many opposition fans claimed we DID cheat by spending what we couldn't afford when we won the League Cup & even when we won promotion to the SPL & the hugely successful first season where we were the best team in Scotland outside the bigot brothers.

The nature of football is such that even if you do sign big name players it is no guarantee of success & we have absolutely no way of knowing what sort of squad Rangers would have had without the EBTs; they may well still have been the best side in the country; it can't be proven one way or the other. So let them have their titles; they won them on the pitch not in the boardroom. If they are guilty of tax avoidance then hit them financially....and as they claim to be the same club now as they were then...hit the current ownership in the same way that every other club that has changed hands after financial difficulties has been hit; and if that puts them into administration even better.

I highly doubt Rangers would've signed the players they did for lower wages, the EBT's gave them more spending power to get better players, they knew they were cheating, Celtic owned up to their EBT's a few months after doing the same thing because they realized they were extremely dodgy and better to sort it out quickly by owning up rather than hiding it and being caught out. Just look at the list of players Rangers used the EBT's on, managers too, it is incredible.

If the EBT's were legal then fair enough their titles would be safe but the tax man has won his appeal and if they are now found guilty then the titles were won cheating. Going by that blog Murray has admitted he used them to gain an unfair sporting advantage, only he thought they were safe from being stripped of them because they had won the first tax case.

The arrogant fecks are saying they reject any talk of titles being stripped from them, seriously, they can go reject themselves up the arse for all I care, it aint up to them what happens. They demand the SPFL moves on and doesn't look into this again, who the feck do they think they are?

Purely for their arrogance I want them stripped of the titles, but more than that, this is what's wrong from the top to the bottom of our game, crooked SFA officials pandering to the OF and not giving a monkeys about any of the other member clubs.

I just wish Turnbull Hutton was still alive to make sure the right thing is done.

Green's defence saying Rangers as a club doesn't exist and it is Sevco that owns everything, Stadium and other assets, players, the whole shooting match. He'll get his legal fees claimed against the club/Sevco if this gets accepted in court and the zombies wont be able to cling onto their claim that the club didn't die. It doesn't actually exist as anything other than a name, doesn't have any claim to the actual team or ground, Sevco owns everything. Very Happy

In one of the most striking scenes of the day Brown said, referring to the company, Sevco Scotland that Green used to purchase the assets of Rangers: “The team are paid by Sevco, play at a ground owned by Sevco, are trained by a manager who is employed by Sevco and fans buy tickets from Sevco. That is the business that is being carried on.” Rangers, he argued were “a collection of assets,” noting “What is the players were sold to one person and Ibrox to another, where is the “club” then?”

Popcorn out, this is going to be fun. Laughing
