Holt hasn't lost to Celtic yet, letting my heart rule my head here and predicting we get another draw against them, if Hibs can do it then we sure as hell can too. We'll need the referee to actually get the correct decisions this time though, or if they actually do even themselves out we're due a few wrong decisions going our way too.

Hoping Sarkic gets his chance in the league games, he was superb against Sevco so we know the big crowd wont affect him. Would also like to see McMillan playing RB and dropping Devlin, I think he's looked poor for a few games now, being dropped to the bench might be just what he needs to sharpen his focus, nobody should be feeling they can't be dropped.

    ….....………………..Sarkic

    McMillan     Guthrie    Lithgow   Lamie

    .. .. Bartley      Jacobs    Lawson

    . .       Lawless         Robinson

    ..                   Dykes

We'll get robbed by the referee as usual.

We will be lambs to the slaughter. Celtic have dropped off a bit but will bounce back against us.

Might get beaten but we wont get gubbed, Sevco couldn't do it and neither will Celtic.

Yeah Dykes is obv an important player to give us an out ball, we had Menga being able to fill in there last season but only Miller could do the same sort of job and he's always injured. If he can make this game he'll have a fortnight to recover again, with yet another international break coming up.

You get sick of all this stopping and starting, esp with our National team being a lot of shite, I know we've a lot of injuries and it gives us more time to get them back fit, but it also breaks up getting into your stride and we don't seem to do well for a few games after a break.

Talking of the Scotland team for the moment was interested to see with the current central defence crisis and, the fact that Halkett is going to be unavailable for a few months at least, they're now looking at Gallagher as a possible new cap.

    How things come around eh?

Yeah Halkett has been Hearts best player and Gallagher has been Motherwell's best defender, and Motherwell are doing a lot better than Hearts. I think Gallagher deserves a call up too. Though when at Livi Dec got caught out for pace a few times and Halkett covered for him, but then he wouldn't be playing in a back 3 for Scotland..

Would sum up how mental football can be if we manage a win over Celtic after losing to Accies, would certainly balance things back out for us results wise too, but that would be just so arse ways elbows.

Would Gallagher's criminal record influence his selection I wonder. scratch

    isn't it a requirement?

Incidentally I had "Fox on the run" by The Sweet - that's pretty criminal

Also had a police record (got in there before Bertie)

I preferred the tabloid name Duncan Disorderly. Its funny that he wasn't dropped from the Scotland team, despite spending time inside, but refused to play for Scotland again when he was slapped with a 12 Scottish league match ban (later overturned on appeal) for his assault on Jock McStay. Actually still cant believe that he received no punishment from Kenny Clark on the day.

I like Fox On The Run, brilliant band The Sweet... singer was Taggart’s brother... wee tenuous police link there.

Police record? Regatta de Blanc? Zenyata Mondata? Synchronicity? Or just one of the singles?

Oh joy, Wullie Collum will referee this match, see if he can even out some of his blunders from our game at Ibrox.

Personnaly, athough looking forward to this i cant wait to see the back of it.Shame it looks likely that we will be heading into the international break on the back of five deafeats albeit so unlucky in most of them.Seems like we are gonna be without Dykes and Pitman again and amalgimated with the man in the middle its going to be such a tough shift for Gary and the boys.More important games coming up after the break where hopefully we will start getting the aforementioned players back to full fitness .As always i know the lads will give it their all and wont be underestimated by anyone, and in that respect i wish the lions all the luck in the world. We,re gonna need it.

Don't think that could've gone any better for us today, St Mirren & Hearts both lost and all the other results involving the teams below us were draws, so nobody has gained much ground on us. Only team to have improved their league position to move above us is Killie, but they'd have done that even with a draw so I think keeping Hearts down was the better result.

So it really is a free hit for us now, nothing to lose and everything to gain getting something out of this game.

    October the 6th; 2019
Ask any hoops fan what they have seen!

2-0 to the Livingston, 2-0 to the Livingston, 2-0 to the Livingston, 2-0 to the Livingston!

Absolutely magic today, every man played his part, couldn’t pick a MotM easily but thought Devlin was immense in the first half & Dykes was outstanding in the 2nd but everyone of them deserve immense praise for a fantastic performance & result.

Who could have foreseen a clean sheet against the champs? (Actually I better check LF’s prediction cos he just might have!)
