Accies v Livi

Accies beat Airdrie 4-0, we drew with QP 1-1, Accies going into this with their tails up.


Quality of our subs was the difference the last time we played them, bringing on Montano, Sole and Muirhead, would expect the same for this game, but it will be crucial for us not to concede in the first half when Accies will come at us. If we go in all square or a goal up i reckon we'll win, with the 2nd half seeing Accies energy levels dropping off and us bringing on our subs to get us a goal or 2.

I'm taking Martindale's advice and taking it one game at a time, just looking for us to win our games and what will be will be elsewhere, lets get all 3pts and keep our good start to the season going. Mon the Lions.

If you'd asked me a month or so ago I'd have been supremely confident of going to NDP and picking up the 3 points.Im not so sure now.Yeh,we've only lost once this season and should be happy with the position we're in currently.Ive just got a feeling we've been flattering to decieve.Were powderpuff up front and don't seem to take the numerous chances presented to us.Falkirk meantime racking up the points and ominously stretching away from us and the rest.Accies have hit a bit of form since the last time we played them.I genuinely can't call this,so will sit on the fence with the old saying,Just don't lose.Mon the Lions .

Looks like Ayr don't want to go back to being 2nd, hopefully we win this and take the opportunity they're giving us to go 4pts clear.

Withstanding the diddy cup on Tuesday against Greenock, what a game in prospect next Saturday against the Bairns.Possibly season defining.Even this early,would suggest 5k plus for this game,more to follow,where's the fridge.Hic..

Good to see May getting another league goal, will do his confidence good, and will hopefully keep on scoring now. Also good seeing two new scorers getting in on the action, Winter has looked like he was going to score in a few games when coming on, again hopefully this is the seal broken for him to net a few more. Not sure about Smith, would prefer Sole getting games, but he got an assist and a goal today, so can't argue he deserved his start.

Great result to keep us 4pts ahead of QP, both Ayr and Partick dropped pts too, so a good weekend for us.

Just watched the highlights, we created about 9 good chances, scored 3 goals, some nice passing in there too.

Yeah, just watched them myself & we looked like the team played the way we’ve been wanting them to. Quick tempo and getting passes going that took us into attack quickly, bad goal to concede and Prior had to make a couple of saves but we ripped them up apart from that and really should have scored more but 3 goals in 9 chances is a good return.
