Expect Alloa to park the bus....us to struggle to break through.... Alloa to sneak into the lead with a goal that is either offside but allowed to stand or as a result of a wrongly awarded free kick or penalty or an OG. This will be at approx 32 minutes. We will batter them stupid for the rest of the match but fail to score until the 3rd minute of injury time.

Has to be a home win with the performances we've seen as of late. Score early and it will be game over.

I want a big win here, Alloa are total pash. Hoping for something like 4 or 5 with shags having a field day. Would settle for any kind of win really, but the bigger the better.

Don't mind it being 1-0 as long as we beat this shower of shite. These mugs should just be relegated now.

Hope that doesn't give them an impetus to get a win at our place. Mind you they are playing Dumbarton in a cup replay tomorrow night before that.

    Hugo Faria interview:http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/livingston-midfielder-hugo-faria-played-6976038

That's the right attitude going into this game:

“Only one result matters this weekend and that is to get the win, we’re really not thinking about anything else - not even a draw - we are only thinking about getting a win from this game and it we can repeat recent performances, then I know we can do it.”

Alloa pumped 5-0 tonight in the Scottish. I'm feeling more and more nervous about this game. Alloa have surely got to win at some stage and I keep thinking it's going to be on Saturday.

Get an early goal and we will take them apart, but I feel the longer the game goes goalless the more likely they are to snatch something

I know it's fatal to get too confident but I really think we'll destroy them, even if they do park the bus I doubt they're good enough to keep us out. Come out all guns blazing and just blow them away, would even fancy Sheerin starting with White just to bully them in a packed box situation. Then bring on Buchanan when we're a few goals up when he'll get more space to do his stuff.

Certainly more expectation on us anyway.

Only a win would be acceptable, anything less would be seen as a real disappointment. Time to show we're not the same team as last season, no slip ups here, just need a professional demolition job to set us up for the Dumbarton game.

I think one of the few things you can say about Burchill's Livingston teams is that they very rarely let the fans down. There have been occasions but that happens to every team. The majority of the end of last season (once he'd put his mark down) and this season (once the squad has settled), have been good performances where we've deserved more than what we've got.

    Scrappy 2-1 #AM victory. FG 16 mins.

This is the most important game of our season, there is no way our players aren't prepared and fired up to win this game. Burchilll wanting an undefeated month from them: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/livingston-boss-mark-burchill-challenges-6987677

3 wins and 2 draws from Alloa, Dumbarton, St Mirren, QoS & Falkirk would do me.

Oh No. The old new manager syndrome routine again.Seriously we should be wiping the floor with this mob.Granted theres no easy game in this league but surely with our current form and the fact that they are honkin at the moment points to nothing less than a comfortable home win tommorow. They may get a silly result somewhere along the line, lets just make sure its not against us.Wrap up well its gonna be Baltic tommorow.Do it Livi.

The first half has been the worst game I've seen in a long time. Absolute garbage from us. Alloa look more comfortable on the ball. We are arguably looking more dangerous in front of goal but the finishing is just pitifull when we get a chance and our build up is slow, laborious and inept.

Shite performance and I stayed until the end to boo but can I just say that the level of abuse given to Gary Glen at the end was disgusting.

He played absolutely awful and he will know that himself but the people in C1 were well, well out of line and personally attacking him. We should be far better than that as fans.

I think Glen was unfortunate to be the player closest to them, whoever had been closest was going to get verbals. Normally I would agree 100% with you EL but today I can understand why so many had a go. Normally you can't fault them for effort, I think you said something to that effect earlier in the thread but today I saw no sign of even 25% of the effort shown against the Huns and frankly I would rather have lost that game and thrashed Alloa, who were pretty rank today, which shows how garbage we were. There is no point in us playing well against the better sides if we fail to turn up against this level of team, and today we failed to turn up. If we keep this up we will finish bottom. We were an absolute shambles from start to finish, not one player deserves more than 3 out of 10 and most deserve less than that.

For my part, I apologise for the unwarranted sense of optimism I had in predicting a draw, it won't happen again.

I'm maybe being a bit hypocritical given I stayed to boo the whole team collectively but the abuse to Glen was far too personal for me.

If you did that to anyone on the street, the police would be having a word.
