Hopefully we've got a game lined up against a diddy team for today, give a few trialists a run out before we get hammered against St Johnstone on Tuesday.

Cant say I'm totally surprised - DJ hasn't looked sharp and Maley was totally out of his depth. Would've liked to have seen Quinn get a couple of shots though

1-1 draw with St Johnstone tonight, Mullen had a penalty saved and Jamieson also saved one down the other end. Sounds like we've improved a bit since the Dunfermline game too which is good.

Generally the team played pretty well; for a start they played like they'd actually been training together which I couldn't say for the Dunfermline game

Hope we sign up the big striker who cane on for the second half; not for his footballing ability so much but for entertainment value he's pure gold.

Could've nicked it at the end with both trialists driving through the St Johnstone defence and causing them all sorts of problems. No17 opened them up and put a cross along their box and no18 drove right through their defence and had just the keeper to beat but shot wide.

Good performance from Livi though, improving with every game, passing it well and a few very skilful looking players in the team, Cadden in particular stands out a mile, good goal by him too. Liked the look of Watt and Sinclair as well, decent looking midfield and should do well in League One.

Actually starting to get a bit optimistic, still mistakes in defence but not so many, didn't track players for their goal and penalty but can see improvements in defence. Still need a striker or two signed as well. Will see how we get on in a competitive game before i start getting carried away thinking we just might have a chance of promotion this season.

#19 was Danijel Jurisic, who couldn't get a game at Cowden a couple years ago. #34 was Dale Carrick, ex Hearts and Kilmarnock.

Was it, looked a taller, skinnier player, Curry is short and stocky, was a good bit of play anyway. Maybe got my numbers mixed up but it was the two trialists. Take it the other trialists from earlier games have been dumped as they weren't there tonight.

Was hard enough recognizing all the new signings but our match announcer wasn't helping giving out the wrong names of substitutions and our goal scorer, had Mullin scoring with Cadden subbed at HT when it was the other way around. Cadden was shaking his head walking down the tunnel after being subbed when the announcer said it was Mullin that was just subbed. Laughing

Gutsy performance from the Lions last night i thought.Looks like we might have unearthed a rough diamond in the shape of young Cadden.Took his goal superbly with a wonderfull strike after some good build up play. Two good saves to deny the penalty takers as well, shades of the old DJ.The trialist no 19 Jurisic could be the answer to the cries from fans to give us some hieght and much needed help up front if played in the right position. Not getting carried away here but i saw a team genuinly trying for each other and thoughraly deserved to take a share of the spoils from the game.Still work to do but i left the game with a smile on my coupon which hasnt happened for a long time.Yes it was a freindly against a decent premiership side but the real test comes up on Saturday against St Mirren. On recent evidence we might just have a wee chance of causing an upset.Well done Livi!!!

With trialists not being allowed to play in the League Cup there's a chance we might see a signing or two before Saturday.

Signed Thomas Orr, a 19 yo striker on loan from Morton. http://livingstonfc.co.uk/new-striker-comes-loan/

Pretty sad we haven't any strikers coming from our own youth team, we've had Griffiths and McNulty being successful for us but it seems to have dried up, unless Mullen comes good this season. Anyway, hope this young fella does well for us.

Why does he go on about the guys potential;surely if he's on loan you want him to be able to deliver now?

Why does it say he knows where the goal is? Last I checked there were 2 on a pitch at opposite ends & fairly central between the side lines & along the goal/by line.

If they are referring to his scoring prowess, 5 in 20 games for East Stirlingshire isn't exactly prolific is it?

Good luck to the lad, I hope he fulfils his potential at Livi

    Great news about Cole.

The 2 CB's don't look too bad now, nothing fancy and they just boot the ball out the park when they are around the box, the complete opposite to Cole. Still to see them in a competitive game right enough but they have looked a lot better than that first game.

Need to be on our toes all game though, we didn't track a player for St J's goal when he laid off the ball and ran into space for a return pass, and same 2nd half when they got their pen, other than that we defended well.
