Lets hope they have the right footwear - the ground will get firmer and slippery.

I think the official site has been hacked, try to go to the match report page which usually has the Twitter feed until the end of the game but it's an advertising page when you click the link.

Cadden puts us in front with a 25 yarder to the top corner, apparently... Assisted by Jacobs according to SS App.
C'mon Livi!!!

And the Lions prowl on, another 3 points in the bag, another superb result 9 points out of 9 against the other teams in the top 4 is simply sensational. Pity we hadn't beaten Dunfy, we'd be on St Midden's coat tails. What we need now is for Dundee United to take something from their game against them & us to finally put the Pars to the sword...

Re: Morton v Livi (Tues 7.45 ko)
Tighter game than I predicted but we still won and got the 3 points, get in there Livi.
I chickened out at the last minute from going, was too settled in my nice warm house after my dinner and thought, ah sod that sitting freezing my nads off for two hours in a cramped seat at Greenock, feel a bit guilty for not going but sure i'll get over it.
Hope Robinson is ok, he's been brilliant for us these last few games, so has Cadden and can't wait to see his screamer of a goal.
Some effort from the players these last 3 games, against 1st and 3rd placed teams, incredible season we're having.

Right - if Hopkins doesn't win Manager of the Month for February I'm going to strip bollock naked and streak three times round the ground.
Note with four wins and a draw against some of the best sides in the league I think I'm relatively safe from the chance of frostbite in the nether regions.

Hope Robinson is okay though - interesting to see that Thompson wasn't even on the bench.

Re: Morton v Livi (Tues 7.45 ko)
Not a great game, but a great pie.
Would like to see Cadden's goal again, looked pretty central, but still a great effort.
Let's hope Robinson's injury wasn't too bad, crazy to say it but he's a very important player for us now. Jacobs wasn't up to speed when he came on, let's hope he's just a bit ring rusty. Fair play to the team, obviously been very tough on the legs but the momentum we have generated in the last few games has been fantastic. Hopefully we can keep it up on Saturday and the fixture can beat the freeze.

Re: Morton v Livi (Tues 7.45 ko)
Well I braved the beast from the east and went to the game. We looked a bit below par tonight too many misplaced passes and giving the ball away. Morton are a good team though so perhaps it was that. Certainly Miller didn't win the aerial battle as he has done recently up against the tall O'Ware and Hardie was feeding off scraps. However we ground out a win due to our defenders dealing with all Morton could throw at us. It wasn't pretty but it was effective. Cadden's goal was a screamer. He's certainly come on to his game recently and is growing in confidence all the time.
We actually scored in the first half. It looked a perfectly good goal to me but the ref reckoned the goalie had been fouled!
I hope Robinson is ok. He's been unfortunate with injuries this season. I don't know what happened as the ball wasn't near him. I thought Keaghan did fine when he came on.
I wonder if the Pars game will beat the weather. I'd dearly like to take the three points. It's high time!

Like LF I doubt I'd manage to run the length of the south stand never mind round the ground 3 times. Also, with my moobs and the effects of the cold weather, folk would be asking "Where did the bearded lady come from?"

Yep, those are the kind of goals that usually get scored against us, players are playing for the fun of it now though, and that's when you score 25 yarders like that, no pressure on them.
Hoppy has done a magnificent job keeping the pressure off our players all season, even now he isn't mentioning top 4 let alone trying to catch St Mirren, he's just telling them to go out and enjoy themselves and see how many points we can get, and see where it takes us. All the pressure is on the other teams, and with their goals set high it makes it easier for us to score.

Re: Morton v Livi (Tues 7.45 ko)
First of all ,much kudos to the hardy souls who made it through to Greenock last night and i trust you all got home safely.Secondly its so refreshing watching this team at the moment.Theres something special happening down at the Vale at the moment and its obvious to see theres a special bond between this group of players and the management team that we havent seen for such a long time. Was great to see that the first thing on Nicky,s mind after his thunderbolt was to run over the the Livi fans and salute them for their efforts, different class.A playoff place must surely must be just around the corner imo,i,l let other people talk about a title challenge if they want to.For me we have already achieved more than i had dreamed of this season. The moral at the stadium must be tremendous at the moment and i for one am delighted to be able to share it with all of you.So once again a massive well done to Hoppy and the lads and lets see where it takes us.Lol.T.

Just saw this from the BBC:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43122616
Talk about lazy journalism; couldn't they get a photograph from this season actually showing the player's face?
EDIT - okay; I think it was this season - against St. Mirren but poor choice of photo anyway

Or the actual player that's meant to have scored the goal celebrating scoring in the photo, that's Carrick who scored in that pic, and cadden running over to congratulate him.

Have to laugh at Duffy's comments..."the one chance that came their way they took"...this is at the bottom of a review that talks about how many chances we had ????????????????

Re: Morton v Livi (Tues 7.45 ko)
Duffy is normally quite fair on his assessment and seems to have felt they deserved a draw. From the stats Morton had 1 shot on target to our 6, and going by our match twitter Gaston was very shaky dealing with early pressure, fumbling one into his net that was chopped off for Miller supposedly fouling him/breathing on him. I wouldn't say Cadden's goal was a chance though, he hit it from at least 25 yards out and was just one of those shots that normally go flying into the stands.
Defensively we were solid and doesn't look like Morton had troubled Alexander, so best Morton could've got was a draw, which is what Duffy thought they deserved. Tough chookies Jimbo, yeh have to score to win games we did and you didny.

Re: Morton v Livi (Tues 7.45 ko)
Actually I said, coming out of the ground that a draw would have been fair but I'd take the win. I thought that Morton did dominate the first half and were unlucky not to score. The strike from Cadden was worthy of a winning goal though. After that Morton continued to put us under pressure but we dealt with all they could throw at us. Our defence was what saw us through.
Morton are a good team.

Horses; faint-hearted women and children of Livingston need not fear:
Congratulations to David Hopkin and Ryan Hardie, who have won the Ladbrokes Championship Manager & Player of the Month awards for February
