    United v. St Mirren Empty United v. St Mirren

    Really struggling over this one;

    On the one side I want St Mirren to win so we can put this whole promotion bit to bed (and making our position in the play-offs almost certain) and simply go for a game on Saturday concentrating on retaining second place; on the other side I want it to be extended and continue to torture St Mirren with a sneaky win on Saturday.

    Then again...

    Maybe aye; maybe naw.

    I'm up in Dundee for a few days so decided to go along to this one. Be good to watch a game without my usual anxiety.

    If there was a realistic chance of us catching them then def no, i'd be rooting for Utd even with them closing the gap on us to 6 points, but they only need 1 more point and with all the optimism in the world they're not going to lose their remaining games and bottle it.

    Either way it could work for us though, if they get the point they need they may have a humongous low after their high from winning today, and we could take advantage of that on Saturday.

    Or they could lose to Utd and be a tad anxious to get over the line against us, and like the snooker when a player had a huge lead but hits a wall when he got to that last frame needed to win the event, everything tightens up and nothing quite comes off. They'd still get over the line at some point right enough but it would be funny seeing some of their fans getting worked up with worry. Laughing

    Plus it would be fun going to Paisley and seeing their fans losing the plot when we beat them, and spoiling their party, ah feck it, I hope Utd beat them. lol!

    Strange experience being a neutral. It's been a bad tempered affair. St Mirren with the bulk of the chances but wasteful. Both teams are diving all over the place.
    I'm sitting next to the angriest fan ever. St Mirren players are getting it, the referee is getting it and his own team are getting it. Every second word is f..ck. He's hilarious. Very Happy

    I know what you mean but it does mean the spoon-toasters will be trolling all of our threads between now and the end of the season and then accusing us of trolling them.
