And only a brief note with the promise of “more to follow” when the official announcement is finally made

He's speaking in an interview in this bbc link if you want to have a listen. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44669685
Looking forward to seeing who he's going to be signing.

There’s a bit more on the OCS now; reasonable comments from him. Will give a listen to the link you posted.
Yep, interesting and surprisingly not just the same old cliches. Good luck to him.

Re: Who Will Be Our New Manager?
So we get to play this fun game again.
Imagine we'll move quickly for Gary Holt, and if he turns us down then Gavin Skelton. I would like to see the board offer it to Hopkin though, surely worth asking him even if he still doesn't want it.

Re: Who Will Be Our New Manager?
The squad at the moment is essentially all Hopkin's signings, given that the majority of new signings were identified by him and DM before he left. Would make absolute sense to bring him back in. I suspect that there is no danger he'll go near the job, though, and it's a bit of fantasy to think he'd quite happily take the reins up again so easily.
Can see Holt being a bit miffed he missed out to Miller in the summer, so we're looking at someone like Skelton, potentially.

Re: Who Will Be Our New Manager?
Interesting interview with Gary Holt on the official site (Twitter)
Think they could try putting names on the door instead of "chief coach" - makes you wonder if its permanent - least-ways could be worse if the put his name up there on velcro ....

The fact that they've put him in the broom cupboard presumably means he's expected to have a clean sweep of things
boom boom.
(as Mr Brush would say)
