A 13 day break between our next game but this time i'm actually quite glad about that, a few of our players took knocks against Celtic so hopefully this'll give them time to recover and they'll all be fit to play against Sevco.

We'll have to wait and see if the Compliance Officer is offering Menga a ban or not, should know by tonight, hopefully he wont be banned as this is another game where we need him for an out ball, and his pace and physicality will cause them a lot of problems.

This will be another tough game for our defence, but we've a great group of players and they've all proven themselves up for the test. Ibrox has been where Sevco have been at their best, so i'd love it if we beat them there, it would put to bed the shite about us only playing well at home on our plastic pitch. We've already got a good result playing Hearts at Tynecastle when they were flying, no reason we can't do the same here.

No Dolly then and Sevco will be delighted about it, not sure Lawson will be playing up front though. https://www.rangersnews.uk/tactics/livingstons-dolly-menga-suspended-for-visit-to-ibrox/

“Neither impressed against the big Belgian” Laughing Aye Dolly is massive right enough. He’s certainly physically strong but I don’t see him as being particularly tall... although wiki has him listed as 5’11” - I find that hard to believe.

"The narrow, plastic pitch played into the striker’s hand" - Geeez a rest!

And maybe someone should mention that dolly isn't a striker?

Lawson playing up front is unlikely; had a pretty solid game against Celtic but more as a wandering/defensive midfield.

With the size of sevco's defence I'm not sure we can rely on set pieces either.

Robinson did well against them last time but surely Hamilton needs to be in the middle. Even if he doesn't score he'll tie up at least two defenders hopefully allowing more space for others.

Still think the cheating or Moralos (with the flying elbows and dramatic falls to the ground) and the vitriol from the home crowd will be difficult to counter.

Celtic have some very tall players too but Dec still managed to win almost every header. Agree about serial diver Morales and their crowd having an affect on refereeing decisions, it's at least a goal of an advantage for them the amount of penalties they've had, that's more of a worry than anything else.

Oh and somebody is needing to get running in at the back post from Dec's headers, I counted at least 2 sitters of goals we'd have had against Celtic if we had a player getting in there, Halkett had to run over and cut the ball back but it would've been a simple tap in for him if he'd been anticipating it.

Noticed that to, a ball bouncing around agonisingly waiting for someone to run up and thunder it in.

That being said I think we were being more cautious with Celtic after the scored from a break-away in the first game following one of our set pieces.

Interesting that when we did actually score it was Robertson, with his never say die attitude, who bundled it in.

All quiet on the Govan front, the Daily Rangers are too busy printing articles on our pitch to notice who we're playing this Saturday.

Hope our players see this, much the same shite was on Celtic sites before playing us.

Expect that freeflowing freight train to ravage Livingston on Saturday too. Whilst it might be a tight cagey affair to begin with, it’s hard to envisage anything but Rangers breaking the Lions resolve eventually. After that, they could be on to a mauling. It’s the least they deserve – this is no plastic pitch..

If ever some aunt needed taking down a peg it's these feckers, mon the Lions, get it right roond them, big Dec can wind them right up again after we gub them.

Stevie G wants his players to remember our players celebrations after beating them, yep Stevie, and I hope our players remember the ignorant aunts that refused to shake their hands at the end of the game after we beat them too.

Not to sure what to make of this game to be honest. The lack of our striking options could be confounded by the fact we that we know there are goalscorers all over the team.Dont know how long we will have to rely on long throws and set peices although they have been succsessfull thus far.I darent doubt these lads but if genuinly feel they will have their hands full tommorow.think its imperative that we keep 11 men on the park as wee know the atmosphere is gonna be so hostile for us.Dont expect many decisions will go for us from the officials so we will just have to play our own game and see where it takes us.Weve nothing to lose here as its another freebie and i just hope the Lions do themselves justice in a game where they might prove the doubters wrong again.Good luck Livi and lets do this!!! cheers

Nick Walsh is the referee for thi game.

Actually he was referee for the ranger v. Killie game at Ibrox on 31st October.

Okay it was 1-1 but just look at the number of yellow cards he issued particularly to Killie:

Good to see he at least had the balls to book Morelos for simulation though

Yeah, but we all know how the gentle souls from Ibrox are so easily hurt by the big clumsy hammer throwers that proliferate every other team in Scotland, you know, guys like Jacobs, Pittman, Byrne, Robinson, Kaja, Cadden, those sort of guys.... thugs the lot of them. Rolling Eyes

Comprehensive defeat by the score line but the first half seemed fairly even on the Sky App.
The 2nd & 3rd were fairly late on which seems to be a bit of a habit for them.

The fact that it took The Rangers nearly 80 odd minutes to seal their victory says volumes for these lads.As has been said never a 3 0 and had we been at full strength up front would have been interesting to see how they would have coped with us.The guys ran themselves into the ground and should be proud of their efforts yesterday at a notoriously difficult place to get points at the moment.Hopefully our strikers will be back soon and i for one cant wait. Now that the old firm are out of the way we can get back to normality starting with the Well, they will be on a high after their result yesterday against the Dons but im sure we will be ready for them.More on that to come but once again well done the Lions yesterday, you certainly werent embarresed. We move on.
