No idea how this will go, or if we'll have Hardie back playing for Livi. Expecting it to be a lot tougher than the last game against them though, they're still smarting from that humiliating defeat.

About time we had a decent cup run again, furthest we've managed in the Scottish cup is a semi final, and I think this team are the best we've had for many a year so this could be their season to get us to the final.

Yeah. The absolutely pointless winter break has hopefully reenergised the guys & they can kick on again & maybe improve their away record.

This team getting to the Cup Final would be outstanding but I’d take being knocked out if it guaranteed a top 6 place... but as nothing is guaranteed, let’s give it a right go & see where it takes us.

I reckon the Hearts team will be like wounded animals after the doing they got at our place. That and the fact it is away doesn't fill me with confidence that we'll get anything from this game. I'd take a draw right now.

Hardie's back for the rest of the season so presumably will be available to play in this one

God its good to be back and after what seems to have been an eternity since we last saw a ball kicked. And what a game in store at tynecastle.Yes they will be smarting from the hammering we gave them all those weeks ago and will look for recompense on their own patch. Can we do it again? i believe so but will probably take two games to do it imo. Will be interesting to see what the lineup is gonna be with so many options open to Gary and Davie. If we could possibly do them at their home i reckon they sould be calling for Levines head on a platter.Nevertheless i wish the boys all the very best of luck in what i think is going to be a stearn test for our boys.Oh and before i forget welcome home to Ryan and a special mention for Gregg and Chris.Great additions to an otherwise super squad and im sure they,l enhance it even more in the coming months.Cant wait for this transfer window to close and put our minds at rest.Cmon Livi you can do it!!!

Decent 1st half but we haven’t turned up as an attacking threat 2nd half.

Thought Wylde looked culpable for their goal but it was good play from them & a good finish.
On the whole I wasn’t impressed with any of the new boys & thought Hardie had a poor game too. Of course, if he’d been with our boys in Portugal instead of with “them” I have no doubt he’d have scored. Laughing

We had a bit of pressure towards the end but never really looked like equalising.

    Our corners were rotten.

Yeah our corners were awful, particularly Lawless, not getting the ball past the first man. Looked rusty in our passing too, and frustrating in the final third. Battled away well though and could've ground out a draw and beaten them at home, but the Hearts goal was the one bit of quality in the whole game and got the win for them.

Hopefully that blew the cobwebs away for our league game on Wed, also hope Halkett and Menga are ok after both limping with injuries.

Just a tad dissapointed after yesterdays result but more in frustration than anything.Had we taken one of the few chances that fell to us it would obviously have been a different ball game. The game itself wasnt pleasing on the eye for both sets of supporters but i guess the Jambos will just be delighted to get into the next round.Yeh i agree the corners wee got were poorly taken and is perhaps something the lads can work on in training. No point in getting corners if we cant make them count.Would agree with some who said we looked a bit rusty though for me i thought the new guys did themeselves no harm and will get better once their bedded into our system. In closing cant be to critical as we knew beforehand what our goal is for this season and the cup was just a bonus thogh dissapointed at the way we went out.Nevermind we move on!!!
