Well at least anger is an emotion so it is better than apathy.

See you on Tuesday. Very Happy

IMO there shouldn't be any sort of ceremony this year, given the abomination this season has been. Credit to the few players who have actually looked like trying a hand each week, but there can be no "reward" for what's happened. Not to mention that our biggest game of the season to date takes place three days afterwards.

I'm also curious as to the reception the management team, and in particular David Martindale, receive if they have the baws to show up.

If the team and club management had shown some passion in certain games this season (Alloa at home twice, Dumbarton at home once, Morton at home twice except for the last 10 mins in the 1st game) then we might not have ended up in this mess and at the very least the fans would have been less angry about the perceived lack of effort in those games.

Up on the OS that Pittman got the LLSC PoTY and Longridge their YPoTY.

Callum Carson's twitter has Buchanan tweeting he's pleased to be awarded Livi FC's PoTY, not seen who was their YPoTY. It's like getting blood out of a stone getting info from our Official Site, would've thought they'd put up the Official PoTY awards, esp when they've put up the supporters club ones.

They tweeted when the players arrived, nothing about who won anything though.

Jordan White got Players player of the year, and in the picture he's holding 2 trophies, so he might have got YPOTY too.

Fairly standard now that the club have made a congratulatory tweet to Leicester but won't even confirm who won what at the PotY awards.

Also not surprised that Scott Pittman got the Supporter's club award considering he's from West Lothian, that's the only criteria needed to be in with a shout. They obviously don't take form into account considering he was missing all season until March.

Unless Liam Buchanan shouted "fuck the Sevco" in his acceptance speech, I doubt we'll hear anything about POTY from the club unless it's mentioned in a grovelling apology.

Either I'm looking at the wrong thing or Scott Pittman has the highest number of "starts" this season - sure you're not thinking of Mullen?

That being said I wouldn't really class him as a player of the year albeit I am aware that he's more often than not been played as a defensive midfielder which he certainly is not - that being said there haven't been an awful lot of obvious candidates

The number of games a player starts should put little into consideration as being player of the year should mean the player who, in the opinion of a group of supporters, has performed consistently above the rest of the squad. And in my opinion, he hasn't.

Agree that there aren't many candidates but I certainly wouldn't have put Pittman in that group. White, Gordon, Longridge and even Halkett have all performed much more consistently.

Would have been tempted to say Halkett if he'd been with us a bit longer - looks really promising. other than that In would say Longridge.

White hasn't been anywhere near last seasons form but yet again part of that is because he keeps being played out of position.

Gordon just isn't great in my opinion; too slow on the ground and with a tendency to give away very silly fouls - pretty slow as well - generally I would have preferred to go with Neill.

I voted for Scott Pittman. For me no player stood out this season but Pittman got my vote for his work rate and looking like he gave a damn even in games when most of the others had thrown in the towel. Where he comes from was irrelevant!

I didn't need to have the club confirm who won the awards through the volunteer who does the website because I was already interested enough to be there when they were presented.

Some people don't have the time or money to go, or just generally couldn't make it. Doesn't mean they're not interested in who won what.

Yep me neither, though I've never gone to the awards, not my thing. Still interested in who gets what though and think it is poor that the OS hasn't covered it. The OS has been like that all season though, a lot about supporters teams, congrats to other teams, but slow, or just don't bother, putting Livi FC info up on it.
If the LLSC awards are up then it looks pretty bad, even farcical, that it hasn't the Livi FC awards put up.

    How many awards are there?

The LLSC ones, Livi FC ones, and the players ones?

    LLFC- Pittman PoTY/Longridge YPoTY

    Livi FC- Buchanan PoTY/Longridge YPoTY

    Players- White PoTY/? YPoTY

I've no problem who gets what from any of them, it's up to those voting to put their own personal nominations, mine would be White PoTY and Longridge YPoTY. Reasons are White's recent form has been very good scoring a goal a game from midfield and his hold up play has improved this season too, think if he was played in the proper position and got supplied with balls into the box he'd be up there with the likes of Baird as top goal scorer/ Longridge is impressive getting down the left wing and it is really noticeable whn he's not playing, imo our most improves player this season.
