So who is going to win Euro 16?

Sissoko is the only one looking likely to get through the Portugal defence but even he isn't having much luck getting a clear shot from inside the box.

Eder makes it 1-0, who needs Ronaldo.

Clattenberg awarded a free kick to Portugal for handball against Koscielny when it was clearly Eder's hand (not a difficult spot given the distinctive appearance of each player's melanin quantities); if that free kick is awarded the other way as it should have been, the ball is sent into the Portuguese half & the move for Eder's goal doesn't develop.

Poor side have won the tournament & its a victory for anti-football.

Portugal defended & didn't look too bothered on the break, playing for pens from the kick off IMO & they got lucky with Eder's superb strike.

Nah France defended like feck against Germany packing their box, feck em. I was quite glad Portugal won, don't think either were the best teams to watch, France only had one good game when they destroyed Iceland, apart from that they were average and their tactics against Germany put me off them in the final.

Pepe is an arse with his play acting but he's a good player when he just gets on with it, Ronaldo is a posing prick but again a good player, and brilliant at club level. Have to laugh at Ronaldo being hailed a true legend now he's won a Euro medal, he went off injured and was doing sod all before that too, just how exactly does his team mates winning him that medal make him better than Messi who hasn't a Euro medal, utter nonsense.  It's up there with John Terry stripping off down to his football strip and getting in on the act celebrating with his team mates winning the CL final.

Ronaldo contributed to the cause but they won without him so IMO his medal is only marginally more deserved than the medals "won" by the squad benchwarmers.

As much as I dislike Ronaldo you can't fault the passion he shows for his country, also showed some signs of a future manager on the touchline too.

Wanted France to win since I had them on as a bet a few months ago, thought they would do it since, despite not looking great so far, they managed to do what was required. Wasn't even thinking that the same could be said about Portugal, so fair play to them for getting the job done. Though if an unlikely candidate was to win it I would preferred an Iceland or Albania.

He certainly embraced the role of leading from the sidelines, looked more of a leader and team player than he does on the pitch.
