Yeah Carrick was just playing in Development games and would've been no great loss. He's come into the first team and proven his worth now though and has been impressive in our last 3 wins. I was concerned we didn't have enough depth up front with our strikers but looks like that isn't the case at all and we have 3 in form strikers fighting for a starting place, that's fantastic for our title chances.

Looking at the 2nd quarter, we've now got 18 points from 7 games, the same total we had from our first 9 so hopefully we get another 6 points from the 2 games left till the half way mark.

A very pleasing win tonight and it could have been more but for a strange offside by the standside linesman. Buchanan had just rounded the keeper and had only the empty net in front when the whistle went. One of several wrong calls (imo Very Happy )

I had to laugh at the Livi lad who shouted at him near the end "Aye, ye did well the night Lino but yer boys took a helluva beating" Even the Lino smiled. Laughing

Very professional performance in the end. Stenny did have some good chances in the first half but like I said before, their performance on Saturday clearly took everything out of them by the second half and we comfortably took control of the game when we made it 2-0. Nobody needs to stand out in these games, just get the job done in which they did.

Also, great to see all of our strikers making an impact in recent games. Before his injury, although I said he should've been dropped, Mullen got a goal before his injury; De Vita has scored crucial goals in the last two games; Buchanan has been on fire throughout; and Dale Carrick has probably been our biggest impact in the last three games. I'm sure Hopkin will see sense and keep Buchanan and Carrick up front from the start on Saturday with Mullen being the impact sub like Carrick was against Albion and Stranraer.

Can't wait to play QP again now we've such a strong bench that will test even their parking the bus tactics, when you see players like Mullen/Buchanan, Cadden/Mullin waiting to come on when players are getting tired, it fills you full of confidence that we'll score goals late in games.

Another super second half display from the Lions last night and a thoughraly deserved victory in the end.I spoke last week about the possibillty of us being ten points clear of the rest by 4 45 on Saturday and by god they havent half given themselves a great chance of that opptomism to come to fruition. The bench mark for the rest of season can be potentialy laid by the weekend and i for one cant wait.Livi the chance is there.Take it by the scruff of the neck and do it!!!

Oops wrong thread, here's the Stenny highlights then: http://www.stenhousemuirfc.com/video/

I'll delete that last post and put it in the Stranraer thread.

Good to see us getting balls in from the wings and getting on the end of them, we really weren't doing that last season. Longridge, Cadden and Mullin have been like a breath of fresh air this season.
