Great news, Lithgow has signed up for another 2 years. Between him and Halkett for PoTY I reckon.

    I liked this quote:
“We have a very busy and exciting 4 weeks coming up and we intend to do everything in our power to take Livingston FC back to the Premiership, and I would urge as many fans as possible to get down and back the boys in their quest to do so.”

No messing about being coy on our intentions now, we mean serious business in the play offs.

Lithgow's form since January 2017 has been nothing but consistent. Never seen him have a terrible game even in the defeats we've had over this season.

At this level you don't see players at a similar age to Lithgow (30) getting better and better with age. It looks like there was always a good player in him because of some of the recognition he has received while at other clubs so all that was missing was daily coaching to make him the player that he has now become.

Yeah it is unusual for a player to improve so much at that age, but under Hoppy we've taken in a few players who haven't hit their full potential and helped them get there. Pittman being a prime example of that too, and even Gallagher when he'd hit a low has been helped get back up there. Just shows it is never too late to improve yourself if you put in the hard work.

Jack Hamilton's latest goal is quite similar to Hardies against Brechin, he's making a run, the ball hits off the defender beside him, he turns back looking for it and hits it on the spin into the top corner.

Said it before, a lot of his goals are Ryan Hardie type goals with the same style of play, he looks a right good talent and looking forward to him playing for us in the first team.

Hamilton finished off his loan spell at Berwick with a brace to take his goals tally to 8 goals from 16 appearances. Wonder if it would be too much of a gamble having him on the bench in the play offs, could come on for Miller late in the game if we weren't looking like scoring that vital goal to get a draw or win, last ditch gamble type of thing. We haven't got any other options from the bench up front, unless we bring back Mackin into our squad, but he hasn't scored a goal in a long while and confidence is a big thing, so Hamilton's confidence will be sky high.
