Peterhead v Livi

No idea how this one will go, we've lost back to back league games for the first time this season, lets hope it wont be 3 league defeats in a row.

We had a narrow win up there earlier in the season so i'll go for another tight game where we come away with the 3 points. 2-1 Livi, FG 33 mins.


My prediction is more out of hope than expectation, not feeling confident about this game. Bound to be quite nervy if we're sitting on a 1 goal lead at HT, really could do with us going ahead 2-0 to settle the nerves a bit, or go 3-0 up and stroll the game, can't see it though.

I'm hoping for a reaction here in a similar manner to our last visit; any win would do me, although a convincing win away to a tough side would help boost confidence going into a good run of home games.

Peterhead will be confident after winning at our place & from winning at Brechin earlier this week.

We have been doing well in the 1st half recently but not killing teams off and then falling out of it in the second half. So our confidence has to have taken a knock.

The long overdue draw this week I think.

Wonder what the starting line up will be, both new signing are going to be in the playing squad for this game. Don't know why Cadden wasn't in the squad last week either, maybe got this cold bug that's going about, or if he's going to be fit for this game, impossible to predict our starting eleven.

I don't think we should start Buchanan, Mullen and Carrick, we need one of them to come on as an impact sub when players are getting tired, it gives us a better chance of getting late goals.

We'll have a strong bench though, that's for sure.

Definatly dodged a bullit after last weeks results although we really shouldnt be reliant on othr teams doing us a so called favour.The additions of Gallagher and Millar will certainly bolster an already strong looking squad and i sincerely hope to see winners medals around their necks at the end of the season.I for one welcome them both.Tommorow i expect another tough game against the blue toon who i honestly thought at the start of the season would be their or abouts at the end of the season.It seems they blow hot and cold and you never know what to expect from them.Ifeel we really need to hammer home the advantage when it presents itself to us and go about our jobs like we mean buisness.Weve stamped our authority on this division thus far lets not throw it away Livi.Do it!!!

Yeah doesn't look quite right does it,great if Peterheid try and go through the middle of our defence but what happens if they use wingers to get in behind us.

No width with both Mullin and Cadden on the bench too, Pittman, Byrne, Millar & De Vita in midfield. Hopefully it works out. Gives us a completely different shape in the 2nd half when we start bringing on our subs though and will maybe throw Peterheid off when we start using pace down the wings.

Just noticed Mullen won a pen, and Buchanan missed it, that's 2 in a row he's missed now, surely someone else has to start taking them.

I said the other week that Buchanan should be relieved of penalty taking duties.... Hate to say I told you so...

Aye we can't afford to be missing penalties against the likes of QP and Peterheid, hard enough to score against those 2 without missing pens. Dunno who'll take them though as Mullen wasn't much better at taking them and Cadden isn't playing. Pittman, De Vita or Millar maybe.

I don't care who takes them, I just wish they would leather the ball rather than trying to be clever.

Same old same old from the officials this season, Mullen wrongly flagged offside when he scored what should've been our 3rd. Sounds like we should be out of sight in this game too. How can Mullen be offside from a back pass?
